110 ㎡ private, with elevator, for walking in Nara Park and Nara Machi, 2-minute walk from JR Kyoterminal Station, pets and parties allowed

My house is a part of a beautifully renovated large detached house, and is run as a vacation rental in Nara called Terrace Kyuushi. Although it is a part of a house, it is 110 ㎡, and it is spacious enough for large groups to stay comfortably. It has a large living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms (2 Western-style rooms and 1 authentic Japanese-style room). In addition, it has an elevator, which is rare in a detached house, making it ideal for elderly people, wheelchair users, and moving suitcases. We started operating as a vacation house where dogs can also stay, which is rare in Nara. The owner's lovely garden, veranda, carp, and terrace where dogs can play are all highlights. There are also 3 lovely hot springs nearby, perfect for relaxing. Located 2 minutes on foot from JR Keinu Station, the south entrance of Nara Town. It is a lovely station that has been restored to its Meiji-era station building, and has tourist information, a cafe, and even a piano. (For the first time in JR West Japan, a local resident is serving as a volunteer community station master) It is a 5-minute walk to Nara-cho, making it a great location. It is a calm, historic downtown Nara. 2 minutes on foot from JR Keitoku Station, about 10 minutes by city loop bus from JR Nara Station, 20 minutes by bus from Kintetsu Nara Station, parking available.

Stay at Ryunohara Hatago, a 120-year-old farmhouse blending tradition with comfort in Japan’s spiritual heartlands. In the Edo period, Hatagos were small inns where weary travellers could recuperate. Today we’ve revived the tradition with a seamless mix of heritage and modern amenities. Whether stargazing, wading in the crystal-clear waters of the Hidakagawa river, or simply enjoying the company of rare chickens, this is a sanctuary for those seeking renewal and a deeper connection to nature.
