View the Salish Sea from your breakfast table or take a coffee with you on a short (7 minute) walk to the forest and coastal trails of Neck Point. Our suite is on a bus route and only ten minutes from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. We are a short drive to all amenities and a perfect location for day tripping to local attractions within and around the Nanaimo area.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

A favoured area to walk and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and watch the eagles soar. Close to shopping but quiet and secure. Free off street parking , No smoking , (Outside cigarette smoking area available) no parties please, and we ask that seafood isn't brought in due do a seafood allergy in the house.
