The Heart of Marguerite in Menat

"Le Coeur de Marguerite" has been converted into a cottage in the heart of the Combrailles in an old barn. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living space with access to the kitchen area and the bathroom, upstairs, a sleeping area with beds in alcoves. This accommodation is close to the Sioule (at the bottom of the property), the Queuille meander, Châteauneuf-les-Bains and its thermal baths, Vulcania in the Chaine des Puys and many other possibilities for visits and activities.

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

Located in a peaceful setting in the heart of the countryside, you will stay in a 1960s house, completely renovated with a wooded garden. This property has three bedrooms (two double beds and two single beds). We provide duvets, pillows and bath towels. SHEETS ARE NOT PROVIDED. If you wish to have sheets provided, an additional €5 per bed will be requested (dimensions indicated after booking).

After a pleasant hike from the house, you can relax in our outdoor XXL 6-seater hot tub while enjoying the view. After dark, you can admire the starry sky without light pollution. You can also entertain yourself with our pinball, pool table, darts or pétanque.

Come and spend a warm moment in this beautiful little house and relax in its sauna. Here, we heat with wood in the house as in the sauna. (wood is provided) the accommodation is for 2 people (possibility of adding an extra bed for 1 person) sheets, towels and towels for the sauna are included. Ideal for 2 people, Valouca has been fully renovated and furnished and has an internet box. You will find all the necessary amenities and the expected comfort while being close to shops, restaurants and the market (Thursday morning). We provide sheets, blankets, towels, shampoo, shower gel, dishwashing and cleaning products.
