Hut in the Forest

A charming oak Shepard's Hut, situated on a 2 acre small holding in the heart of the New Forest. We run a brewery (PIG BEER) with beer garden on site. We play ambient music from 12pm up until 8:30pm in the summer. Check out @pigbeerco for current opening hours. We have an excellent farm shop and vineyard next door, and a good pub (The Filly) within 2 minutes walk. Setley is based 2 minutes drive outside of Brockenhurst. We're 20 minutes from Highcliffe Beach, and 5 minutes from Lymington.

The Burrow is a luxury off-grid getaway, situated in a quiet spot on our 55-acre family farm. The perfect place to turn off your phone and reconnect with nature. The hut has a private location in the grounds of a country house. Guests can use the owner’s tennis court and heated outdoor pool (open May to end of September). Explore Winchester, Portsmouth, the New Forest and Hampshire’s beaches. This year-round retreat has a heated towel rail, electric radiator and WiFi.

New Forest Large Shepherd's Hut with Stables

Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.

The Burrow with outdoor bath

Enjoy this lovely setting for a romantic spot in nature. This is the second hut to be built at the Hideaway huts and boasts luxury and quirkiness under one roof. The outdoor undercover area is an extension of the indoor space, with a patio heater, bath, and a comfortable sofa to relax on - this hut is the perfect place for unwinding from day to day life. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided, the hut itself is strictly a no shoe zone.
