Monthly Rentals in Newmilns

Lovely place to relax in. Although on a main road noise was not intrusive. The bedroom was at the back and was quiet. Very comfortable and everything that you would need. Only downside was no milk in the welcome pack. After a 6 hour drive turning out again to find a shop (is close by) to get milk to have a cuppa was a bit disappointing.

What can I say other than this little cottage was out of this world! I have stayed at many air bnb’s and this was the best by far. I live in a rural cottage so this was a home from home. I took my 2 dogs with me and they were welcomed by a bed with super bedding and towels, dog biscuits, a toy and food and water bowls. The location is stunning and for the first time in my life saw the Northern Lights. The garden is fabulous, secure and with 3 different seating areas and a fire pit. My bedroom was stunning, the bed and bedding was luxurious at its finest..better than Claridges or the Savoy. The kitchen was so well equipped with welcoming bread, butter, milk, orange juice and eggs, locally sourced too. Adrienne was incredibly accommodating and around if needed. My only criticism was that I couldn’t stay longer than my 2 nights, I will be back as soon as I can to have a week there, I’d be happy just being in the cottage and admiring the view. It really is a beautiful place to stay.

Perfect little suite! I would have spent an extra night or two!! 30 minutes from Glasgow it was great!

Paula is a really great and responsive host, if you are staying in this part of Ayrshire then I thoroughly recommend you book this beautiful property. Darvel is a super little town with a great sense of community and two great bars😀
