Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nickajack Lake

It was very romantic and reminded me of the flintstones, the record player was super cute. The only thing I would say is that there is a house/airbnb right next to this one so it wasn’t the most private at times but other than that we loved the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Battle Vista! Our family def took advantage of the hot tub each night after all of our daily excursions! everything was clean and tidy...it was a great place for our Spring Break get away!

This is my third stay in the Cavern & it has always been exactly the reprieve I've needed. The space itself is beautiful and private, the beds are comfy, & its easy to feel at home. Rick is a gem & is always responsive and helpful. You can really see all the love and care he's put into the property. Can't wait for the next time to be in this magical space!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very neat and the hot tub was a great bonus. Also, the whole area is private and cozy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Claudia did a great job of staying in touch with us when needed.

Beautiful home with an incredible sunrise view. You won't regret staying here. The home is clean and very well stocked. The area is very private and you can hear the waterfall below. You'll enjoy watching hummingbirds on the porch while sipping your coffee & taking in the beautiful sunrise. Great local lookout points, restaurants, coffee shop, and other attractions within 5-10 minutes from the house.

Our family had a blast! Exactly as pictured! The large pool, hot tub, and the personal hot tub at our cabin was phenomenal! The communication with the host was great and very quick! We would highly recommend and will definitely come back again should we be in the area. Seeing the newborn baby goat was an awesome added bonus!!

Only bad thing about this place is it’s right next to a highway. Other than that it’s great.

Enjoyed the secluded atmosphere, very relaxing. We saw deer several evenings just before dark. Cabin had all the amenities ever needed and more.

Kasey was super responsive and helpful. Our plans changed several times and she was very flexible with us.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need. Peaceful location, decorated nicely, and the screen door to the front porch allows you to enjoy the birds in the morning. My pup and I enjoyed our stay while waiting to pick up our new RV.

Location! location! Jeff’s place felt just like our cottage on the lake in Ontario. Quaint, clean, fully stocked and came with sweet extras like a bottle of wine for us and a dog bone for our fur baby. You cannot beat the location ! We wish we had more time to spend in the area! A great bonus is the yard space for our dog and we sat like a couple of old fogies and had our wine on the front porch during a thunderstorm. Jeff was extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you for sharing this gem with us!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Lynn's place. It was exactly the same accomodations and the house was the same as they were the first time we stayed which was immaculate, quiet, we felt just like we were at home away from home. The only downfall was coming home after such a fantastic spring break vacation. Thank You Lynn for being such a gracious host.

It was a great space in Chattanooga. Cozy, quiet in a nice neighborhood. Close enough to everything that we wanted to do. He was great to work with, very responsive. House was perfect for a couples retreat to the city or small family. Will definitely keep it on our list of return places.

The Blue Cottage is lovely! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and cozy stay. Natalie was a stellar host! We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family!

The cottage was very cozy and had everything you need for an overnight stay. We enjoyed our time at the cottage!

We enjoyed ourselves so much. We were warmly greeted, and given a tour. We opted for the morning farm chores, and they were fun and educational. It was my husbands 60th birthday, and he milked a cow for the first time!! We were offered Bible study after the chores, and Brynne did a great job. Brynne was our farm chore guide too. She was excellent at both. At night, I opened our window, and the ladybugs greeted me, and I could see the stars from my pillow. The weather was perfect. I’m very happy with my stay, and would recommend it. We were about 45-60 minutes from Chattanooga, where our activities were for the weekend, but it’s an easy drive. It was so quiet and peaceful, that you forget there are animals right near you. My husband had a great birthday weekend!!’

Our family went out for a few days during spring break and it was awesome!! My girls loved all of the animals, the big indoor pool, and fishing!! We plan to come again! Fred was also super responsive and the place was so easy to find!

This was exactly what we were looking for-a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view and mountain feel on our way to Savannah to visit family. The weather was perfect for one of the days, and the other day it was rainy and foggy, but we spent that day going to Ruby Falls. It cleared up in the afternoon. We spent evenings around the fire pit in which wood was provided and we brought our own outdoor chairs that were more comfortable than the benches provided. We also grilled out using the grill on the property, and there were plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. Everything was just as pictured. All in all, a wonderful getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Fred, our host.

Nice property, beautiful mountain views and sunsets. Property easy to get to once you acclimate to the uphill drive. Could be scary for anyone not used to driving in the mountains but signs on property were very clear. Beautiful and relaxing deck which was nice in the evenings. There is also a fire pit and wood available, we didn’t use. Note that the room with the rock wall has no sound proofing due to the slide that empties above the living room. Anyone sleeping in that room will hear all of the noise from the kitchen and living room. Kitchen stocked with all we needed to cook our meals (pans, etc). We couldn’t figure out the thermostat. Temp was at 75 no matter what we did. We didn’t bother calling management. Property manager communication was proactive and helpful. Walmart close. We also enjoyed South Pittsburgh TN and the Lodge cast iron museum, cute small town less than 20 minutes away. All in all a great stay and we would visit again.

I had an amazing time staying at this charming Airbnb in Chattanooga! The location was perfect—just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium and Lookout Mountain. The space itself was cozy, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the host had thoughtful touches like accommodation for ou r children and local recommendations ready for us. The decor was modern and welcoming, and the overall vibe made us feel right at home. One of the best parts of our stay was the peaceful backyard, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chattanooga. We’ll be back for sure!

Perfect spot for a large Family to gather while visiting Chattanooga. We were only there for a night but found everything just as advertised!

Our stay was cozy and peaceful. Five minutes from anything you need. Easy parking, easy insurance. Very friendly host, much more than I was expecting as far as square footage. Comfortable and everything we needed! I would love to stay again.
