Holiday rentals with a kayak in Nicoya Peninsula

Staying at Oscar's house was a perfect experience from start to finish! He was at the house upon our arrival and walked us through showing us how things worked, etc... He and his mom stayed next door the whole time and were helpful but not at all intrusive. They even shared some of the fresh fish that his mom caught with us which we cooked for one of our dinners at home one night! He also let us use his beach chairs and umbrellas, which was very helpful. The house was exactly as described and well stocked. I am VERY picky in terms of cleanliness, and it was very clean! Having two showers, toilet stalls, and bathroom sinks was very helpful for our family of 6. We also appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. Town and several great restaurants were an easy 10 minute walk down the beach. We felt very safe in Samara, but we did bring in everything off the porch at night like Oscar recommended. I would absolutely rent this house again in a heart beat. We loved it here!!!

What a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the city. I had my mum and aunt visiting me in Costa Rica so we rented this beautiful house for 5 nights. It's always such a nice surprise to rent a home that is so well maintained and equipped. We had everything we needed to make meals, to lounge around the pool and to have restful nights sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was amazing and the location can't be beat. The best part for me was that this beautiful home was pet-friendly. The neighbourhood was perfect and safe for walking my god boy Gordie. Another perk is that Gracia Mar Vista, an excellent restaurant with an amazing view, is just a short distance away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend Alejandro's place.

Wow! We had a great time at Tavi’s home— comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful view amid flowers and with the sweet songs of birds. The owners were so kind to provide information on the area, which was super helpful. We enjoyed so much the delicious food and experience at Casa Italia, we enjoyed it twice. The German restaurant also has a yummy breakfast. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

La casa es fresca, cuenta con buena ventilación, la cocina y comedor cerca de la piscina son geniales Las camas son como de hotel, nuestras noches fueron geniales. La zona es muy rural y hay restaurantes muy ricos, De Raíz y Atardecer Dorado son muy buenas recomendaciones La bicicletas fueron geniales para nuestra familia Melissa y su equipo son muy serviciales y atentos Esperamos volver

This was a very unique experience for our large family group. Having a beautiful beach within just a very short walk was the best part. Some amenities within the subdivision but easy to take water taxi over to Tamarindo during the day. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to anything we needed. We were all very happy with our stay.

Mi familia y yo estuvimos durante una semana en esta propiedad, la casa es moderna, amplia y muy cómoda. Éramos 6 personas y el espacio fue perfecto. Hacíamos 15 min a playa Flamingo que es nuestra favorita. La piscina comunicaría muy linda y la piscina pequeña que está en la casa era ideal para refrescarse. Buen servicio de parte de don Santiago, el guarda y buena comunicación con Jennifer. Definitivamente volveremos!

Mike and Jennifer for unbelievable hosts They were very proactive and responsive every day of our vacation. We even got a flat tire and Mike made sure we were taken care of until the tire was changed. Appreciate everything they did. It was our first time to Costa Rica and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful place with the outstanding views ! Clean, well organized, quiet, fully equipped house. Located on the top of the hill , which opens fantastic panorama of the mountains and the outskirts of the town! We enjoyed every morning birds chirping and even saw toucans ! The neighbors very welcoming and sweet, Patricio extremely responsive and friendly! Great get away place (you might want to stay longer than a weekend) plan accordingly 🤗 I want to thank Patricio and his team for the job the guys do ! They do it right , which means they are at the right place ! Making memories is an amazing occupation😊

This place was absolutely gorgeous—just like the pictures, if not better! The property was peaceful and full of charm, with a cute little pond and lots of animals that made our stay even more special. We truly wish we had stayed longer. Keylor, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. We absolutely recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

My husband I loved our stay at La Casita! Cinthia was excellent in meeting us upon arrival to show us the place. It was cozy and simple and just what we needed. We enjoyed our coffee outside in the mormings and a wind down outside at night. We saw monkeys 2 days in a row and it sounded like a bird sanctuary in the mormings. Very close to the hotel restaurants and we enjoyed LIVE music one night. We had to uber into town (Playa Del Coco) but it was a short trip. We loved the people, the area and the PEACE!! WILL STAY AGAIN!

we loved this place so much we stayed for the second time in 8 days. this is the best place in the area and we will stay here when we travel to the Arenal area. so peaceful and quiet with all kinds of birds and the trees, plants and flowers especially on the walking trails. it's a fairly short walk but worth the time. close to town to walk to everything. the pool is so nice and private. the inside of the cabin is well equipped with comfortable King bed and great shower. the hammock is a nice touch. love this place and highly recommend it because it's awesome and Mau is a great host.

Muy recomendada. La cabaña es igual a las fotos, ordenada, aseada, la ubicación es buena, céntrica en un pueblo. Cerca de varias playas.

Très bon logement, en effet la vue est exceptionnelle, on peut y voir de magnifiques couchers de soleil, le logement est conforme aux photos, peut-être un peu sombre et la décoration est particulière, mais la terrasse est très agréable, et les 2 piscines (une froide et une chaude) sont vraiment incroyables ! Les parcs du volcan arenal sont à 30mn. Vous avez aussi accès à un billard, c était une très bonne expérience !

Margaret's place was above and beyond beautiful inside and out. It was so serene and peaceful. A bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely touch. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We spent our mornings on the porch drinking coffee and listening/watching the birds. Margaret was quick to respond to our questions. We took a hike down to Lake Cote which was just around the corner. The location is perfect only being 15 min from town but beautifully secluded. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. We will definitely return and would encourage anyone to stay at Margaret's place!
