Villa holiday rentals in Nicoya Peninsula

Consistent with the caveat that once arrived one may wish to stay indefinitely :))… our time at Colibri could not have been more enchanting. Every aspect of Kathy and Stephen’s place exceeded our expectation—from vista to pool to palapa and tasteful layout & amenities, cicada-filled dawns and dusks and distant surf, the serene neighborhood—all enhancing our visit. Nerys and Liana were delightfully accommodating and prepared a very tasty breakfast for us. It was likewise a pleasure to be in the capable hands of such a responsive and gracious host, thank you Kathy for making us feel immediately at home. We look forward to visiting Villa Colibri and Islita again very soon…!

We spent a month at Claire's place and it was so relaxing ! The house is beautiful, fully equipped and peaceful surroundings. Waking up to hummingbirds and the sound of monkey was a wonderful experience. We went there with 2 babies and a toddler the house was equipped with a high chair and a travel crib which was perfect. The pool and the house were cleaned weekly to ensure we had a clean environment. The king size beds are truly comfortable and the bunk beds are a great addition for families with young kids (even though they were a bit squeaky !). The only detail that wasn't a 10/10 was the wifi that was patchy and the smart TVs that were really slow and would close unexpectedly. Claire and Christophe were really friendly and would always answer our questions quickly. I would recommend to anyone who visits Costa Rica to book Villa Loulou without hesitation !

This was by far one of the most beautiful AirBnB's we've every stayed at. It really felt like a mini resort. We had two families, and everyone was able to have their own room and space. Most of our time was spent in the gorgeous pool or in the outdoor kitchen. The pictures are accurate, but everything is more wonderful than the pictures. There is wildlife everywhere - gorgeous birds, geckos, howler monkeys down the street. The pantry off the kitchen protects your food, and we had no problems with bugs (we were told it was the time of year). We did have a couple of friendly birds that begged for food, but they were amusing to watch. The location, though remote, is in a gated community and was very safe. It was only a 10 minute walk to a beach that seemd almost private...not more than a few dozen people at a time on a beach that had to stretch for a mile. Do not hesitate to rent this place!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Villa Santa Terese with the convenience of the beach and local Rocamar restaurant when we didn't fell like cooking or wanted a cold smoothie after surfing! The Villa was super clean and had basic kitchen supplies. While the walk to town wasn't bad, we typically drove as we were always coming and going through town. The pool made for a nice repose from the saltwater beach. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay if you are looking to relax. The place is surrounded by a beautiful forest and has a big pool. Good internet connection and appliances, you can cook easily if you want. Nice restaurants and supermarkets pretty close, still not walkable, you will need a car (not 4x4 required). Very nice hosts who respond in a matter of minutes.

This place feels like you’re on a beautiful reality tv show. Very zen and peaceful, great location , safe and fun.

Absolutely wonderful stay! I visited with a few of my college friends, and everything was seamless and smooth from start to finish. The place was picturesque in every way—beautiful, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was also perfectly located, close enough to the beach and nearby restaurants to make everything convenient and hassle-free. The host was outstanding in communication, always responsive and helpful, ensuring that we never had any lingering, unanswered questions. Overall, a flawless experience—I highly recommend it!

Amazing House! No AC in the lounge area but managed! A bit too many chemicals in the pool but we let the Tico know and he lightened up. All in all a amazing house

This two-story condo #3 is a gem of a place on one of the flattest, accessible beaches on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast, Playa Flamingo. The Palms condo community is a mix of renters and owners - everyone was friendly without being overly intrusive. The onsite management was professional and responsive. There are a lot of staff onsite all day (bartender, groundkeepers, construction, etc.), so please know this when considering your privacy preferences. Condo #3 is situated toward one of the ends, so beachfront is in front of it vs the pool area. Steps from the fitness center and outdoor free equipment storage/massage tent. The condo was clean and comfortable. The master bed and pillows were very comfortable. Two picky things I suggest are charging stations for each nightstand and an outlet in the master bathroom for a hairdryer/electric razor. A 15 minute walk from the marina, and several shopping and restaurant options. Would highly recommend The Palms, especially unit 3.

Cassie was hands down the best Airbnb host we've had! She was the most thoughtful and nicest host, sharing a wealth of information in the welcome letter prior to our arrival. In the letter, her and her husband thought of everything to include to make it such a welcome and comfortable stay! Their home is so beautiful and we are so thankful for them to share it with us. What stood out was Cassie's quick responses and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even before we asked! For example, Cassie knew that we were traveling with our toddler and asked if there was anything else she could provide for our child. She arranged for a highchair to be delivered which was so helpful! She was so accommodating and the best host in the most beautiful home.

Wonderful stay, clean, spacious and modern. Pool was fantastic as were the showers in the unit. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at Antonio’s place was nothing short of amazing. Antonio was super helpful and responsive to all requests. He made our stay stress free as he provided awesome recommendations for a driver as well as a personal chef for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re considering it for your stay in Costa Rica, do it. :)

Three of us stayed at Wanderlust to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Highlights of the accommodations were the incredibly comfortable beds, the peaceful atmosphere and the fantastic hot tub. What really makes this place stand out is Jai. Jai could not have done more to make our stay a magical occasion. She provided us with impeccable food and drink recommendations, connected us with local, trustworthy transportation and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Jai really is a special treat. We all hope to be back someday.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The place was gorgeous—beautifully designed with such attention to detail. It was spotless, peaceful, and felt like our own little private retreat. There’s something truly magical about it; it’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the photos. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and unforgettable escape!

This house was amazing! Truly at great set up for a group of adults or families wanting their own space but also a place to hang out together. The owners were super helpful and took great care of us the entire stay! We had a few hiccups on the trip and they there extremely fast on responding and getting the issues resolved. They even bought us dinner and drinks one night for a few small inconveniences. This house by far has been the most time we spent at the actual house in during a vacation. Beautiful and relaxing.

The home is beautiful with gorgeous views, a refreshing pool, and a nice outdoor area to relax. Each of the bedrooms were private and perfect for couples/groups traveling together. We had an incident while we were staying at the home and Priscilla from the property management went way above and beyond to help us as did the owners. This was the most positive experience I have had with an Air BnB. 5+ stars!

Amazing stay! The location is perfect—close to beaches and supermarkets. The house is spacious, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We really enjoyed the pool and the BBQ area. Everything was comfortable and well set up for a great time. Would definitely come back!

Ideal for families or groups. Great location - close to the beach and attractions. Very spacious, high ceilings, cool, organized and functional. Safe, private, very quiet residential, with beautiful architecture and friendly and attentive staff. The house is impeccable in cleanliness, comfort, amenities, with functional and very good quality furniture and equipment. Very nice view and enjoyable pool. Great value for money. Jazmín solved a theme with the A/Cs and was flexible with the departure. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful home inside and out!!!! The rooms were spacious, even the bathrooms were big. House was equipped with the everything we needed. Amazing pool as well. Located in private and quiet area. Short drive to the downtown area. Easy check in and check out process. Esteban had great communication. Would definitely recommend and return!!

Visited with family including Young kids. We got delayed a few times on the road and Joshua was very accommodating and understanding. He met us at the house to go through all amenities, questions and to give us a sense of what is around us. The place is well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and watching the birds (including daily macaw fly by), the pool and the hamacs. We were fortunate to see the volcano as well from the patio are as we had a few clear days. La Fortuna is minutes away by car and enjoyed the local Panaderia (bakery) and got some basics at the Sonafluca supermarket which is 3 minutes away by car.

The Condominium is very nice and quiet, the house is the same as the photos, Laura is always attentive. I'd go back...

Place was better than shown, host is great and area is very convenient especially if you are looking for a family vacation in a quiet place.
