There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: the Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a plot of almost 1000 square meters with a fantastic view, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. One dog is also welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

The beach, city centre and train station can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes, the nearest supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. Dogs are welcome here!

Enjoy the light North Frisian breeze on the terrace with a cup of coffee. Take a bike ride on the dike to Dagebüll (13 km) and from there to Föhr or Amrum. The way to Sylt or Denmark is also not far... Should the North Frisian weather show its dark side, the fireplace with its cozy warmth is ready.

The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.
