The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

There is a tennis/small sports field in the yard. This place is perfect for both relaxation and active holidays – there are skiing and outdoor trails nearby. Stay in the middle of Kitee, on the corner of the square, all services are within walking distance. The house is from the 50s and the decor is from the 90s. Bedroom with double bed and living room with two 80 cm beds. Extra bed option for two with 10cm mattresses. The kitchen is retro with modern appliances, however. Toilet small but clean and tidy. The shower facilities are downstairs, shared with another apartment, lockable door. Marimekko's cotton bed linen and towels are washed with unscented detergent and ironed.
