Holiday rentals with lake access in Nikiski

When our original trip got canceled we worried that our fishing trip would be ruined. We definitely lucked out getting Bob as our host, gave us some insight into the river and we were lucky enough that he had an opening on his boat! The guy flat out knows how to catch fish, and his little sidekick Romeo was awesome. Thanks Bob for a great trip

The house was super clean, well-organized, and everything was labeled, so it was easy to find what we needed and know where to put things back. It had all the amenities you could want, including an amazing hot tub with an awesome view of the lake. The wraparound deck and the fire pit down by the lake were perfect for relaxing. Plus, the dock made it easy to fish and kayak – so many fun outdoor activities! The house was really spacious, and although there was only two of us and we kept to the main house, the other one was available. This place would be awesome for a family trip or a getaway with friends. We’re already thinking about coming back next year to tackle the Kenai River with our friends. The hosts were super friendly, responsive, and made us feel really welcome. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The home was pristine, beautiful and cozy! Loved the hot tub. Close to everything we did in the peninsula. Flew into Anchorage and the drive was unreal! So majestic. Definitely would recommended this home to everyone wanting a peaceful stay in Alaska!

Picturesque!! Absolutely stunning views and peaceful quiet oasis. Everything was great. Stocked kitchen for cooking. Will definitely be booking this place again. We only used the main floor bedroom, but the bed was extremely comfortable. Don’t pass this one up.

The views cannot be beat! Having the canoe and fishing supplies available was wonderful and the chest freezer was very thoughtful (even though we didn't need it). Michael was amazing! We had an issue during our stay (not Michael's fault) and he had someone out within 20 minutes to fix the issue. Very responsive and great to work with. This was by far our favorite property we stayed at during our trip and we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was incredible!! The area is beautiful. The house was exactly as described. Very clean!! The house is furnished with more than is listed, supply wise is, bug spray/bear spray, etc. which I appreciated!! A restful, peaceful visit while we are traveling south alaska celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. As a photographer, I took many photos of the property, the lake and even the auroras. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing!! There was a young moose that came up one evening. I went out later to check if he’d come back. He had not, but that’s when I saw the lights!! Two years ago we were in alaska, and paid big $$$ to be flown above the Arctic circle to see the lights. The free ones here were much better, more vivid. So look up when you come. We never even considered we would be able to see them. We would definitely book again with Peter!! Fantastic host.

We loved our stay in the cabin! It was super rainy and just plain cold and we had to be outside for an event most of the day so the heater was such a welcome sight! The cabin is well put together and very cozy. The lake was nice but the weather wasn’t very cooperative so we mostly admired from afar. She was super responsive and so kind! We had a super time!
