La Ceiba Country House

Designed by renowned Colombian architect Simon Velez, this luxurious tropical house boasts a guadua (Colombian bamboo) ceiling—a true piece of art. Supported by 56 columns and a curved structure reminiscent of a whale skeleton, it spans 1,265 m2. The column-free roof along the front and back, measuring at least 8 m wide by 57 m long, seamlessly integrates the house into nature. Common areas beneath this exquisite roof have no walls, enhancing their integration with the surroundings.
