If you're looking for a day out, there are some beautiful places to visit in the local area: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 mins): trails of various lengths through the forest and along the water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges and lake basins. – Two-person tour: A woodland trail that ends at a viewpoint overlooking the lake. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the viewing tower. Near the house, there are forest paths for peaceful walks – on your own, with your dog, or to clear your mind. You will find the instructions in the cottage folder.

Kallavedenranta

A high-quality and atmospheric log villa on the shore of Kallavesi. A quiet, beautiful place with a view of Kallavesi and close to nature. The cottage overlooks a beautiful and illuminated lighthouse. The cottage was built in 2002 and has been well maintained. The property is a regular cottage, not a hotel. Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping loft, electric sauna, shower, dressing room, toilet, air heat pump and a large fireplace.

Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

Do you miss stopping in the middle of nature? Savukallio is a Lappish-style wilderness cabin that invites you to breathe deeply and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The core idea of the place is: “Everyone is a hermit at heart” – a place to reset the mind and clear your thoughts. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Room with sauna and hot tub

Here you can enjoy the heat of the wood-fired sauna and relax in the outdoor hot tub. In the apartment you have a 140 cm double bed, dining table, dressing room with washing facilities, toilet, fridge, microwave and kettle. The property also has a carport with electric car charging (extra charge). The apartment is located in the courtyard of a detached house, in a separate building. Good outdoor terrain for hiking and frisbee golf, among other things. Linens and towels will be provided, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

This oasis of relaxation is a magnificent, unique architectural ensemble at the tip of the peninsula, with room to breathe and relax. The cottage is located by the clean Suvasvesi. Next to the main cottage, there is a summer sleeping cabin with stunning panoramic lake views. Large windows bring nature indoors everywhere! A huge terrace area connects the main cottage, the sleeping quarters and the pier complex with the jacuzzis on the beach and the lake surrounds everywhere. It's good to be here :).

Tervetuloa Huvikumpuun! Täällä vietät rentouttavan loman rakkaasi, perheesi tai ystäviesi kanssa. Mökki sijaitsee 38km Kuopion keskustasta, rauhallisella paikalla. Mökissä on tupakeittiö alkovilla, makuuhuone, sisäwc, suihku, pukuhuone ja sauna. Lisäksi lasitettu terassi infrapunalämmittimin ja pihalla palju (lisämaksu 100e). Ilmalämpöpumppu ja kunnallisvesi. Iso nurmipiha. Ranta on matala ja osin hiekkapohjainen. (Loppukesästä uiminen hieman hankalaa) Soutuvene ja 2 sup-lautaa käytettävissä!

Rauhallisessa maalaisjärvimaisemassa sijaitseva mökki soveltuu esim. perhe- tai aktiiviloman viettoon. Ranta syvenee maltillisesti ja vieraiden käytössä on soutuvene. Automatkan päässä Tahkonrinteet ja Pisan vaellusreitit. Vuokra sisältää 2 mökkiä, erillisen kesäkeittiögrillin ja puuceen. Toisessa mökissä sijaitsee puulämmitteinen sauna ja takkatupa (sohvasänky), toisessa 2 makuuhuonetta, perusvarusteltu keittiö, suihku ja sisä-wc. Perinteistä mökkilomaa arvostaville, ei luksuksen nälkään!(:

Gottage is situated by Suvasvesi lake nearby Vehmersalmi village, built -83 and totally renovated -18 when a totally new sauna was built. Surrounded by pineforest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms. Only 0,5km to the village with different services. There is electicity, washing water coming from lake and fireplace heating. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.
