If you're looking for a day out, there are some beautiful places to visit in the local area: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 mins): trails of various lengths through the forest and along the water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges and lake basins. – Two-person tour: A woodland trail that ends at a viewpoint overlooking the lake. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the viewing tower. Near the house, there are forest paths for peaceful walks – on your own, with your dog, or to clear your mind. You will find the instructions in the cottage folder.

Raappananiemi

Located in a peaceful rural lake landscape, the cottage is suitable for, for example, a family or active holiday. The beach deepens moderately and guests have access to a rowboat. A short drive away, you will find Tahkonrinteet and Pisa hiking trails. The rent includes 2 cottages, a separate summer kitchen grill and a wood stove. One cottage has a wood-heated sauna and a fireplace room (sofa bed), the other has 2 bedrooms, a basic kitchen, a shower and an indoor toilet. For those who appreciate a traditional cottage vacation, not for those who are hungry for luxury! (:

A high-quality and atmospheric log villa on the shore of Kallavesi. A quiet, beautiful place with a view of Kallavesi and close to nature. The cottage overlooks a beautiful and illuminated lighthouse. The cottage was built in 2002 and has been well maintained. The property is a regular cottage, not a hotel. Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping loft, electric sauna, shower, dressing room, toilet, air heat pump and a large fireplace.

Welcome to Tähtitahko, the heart of Tahko! Here you are close to everything, slopes and activities within walking distance. The apartment has a bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen (including an airfryer). The spacious living room can be separated into its own room with a sliding door. The living room has a double sofa bed (gray) and the bedroom has sleeping space for two. The apartment has a bathroom, sauna and balcony. Private parking space with heating plug is included in the price. Downstairs there is a shop and a restaurant.

Cottage 55m² and new 30m² yard building as well as a large terrace and barbecue area on the beach. Air heat pump and fireplace in use. Close to good fishing, berry picking, and outdoor terrain. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Here you can enjoy the heat of the wood-fired sauna and relax in the outdoor hot tub. In the apartment you have a 140 cm double bed, dining table, dressing room with washing facilities, toilet, fridge, microwave and kettle. The property also has a carport with electric car charging (extra charge). The apartment is located in the courtyard of a detached house, in a separate building. Good outdoor terrain for hiking and frisbee golf, among other things. Linens and towels will be provided, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

You can come and enjoy a holiday with the whole family at this atmospheric cottage in a peaceful area, as your furry friends are also welcome. In winter, you can ski directly from the door of the cottage and go downhill skiing with the ski bus, which stops 500 metres away. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming, boating and fishing at Lake Syväri, 100 metres away, where a boat is also available. If your passion is golf, Tahko's new golf course is only 1 km away.

The Magic of Tahko

A semi-detached house with stunning views of the Tahko slopes and Syvärin Bay, centrally located in the old Tahko in the best location. Good basic equipment level, you can cook in the kitchen for a larger group. Ski trails run directly from below the cottage, 150 m to the ski lift, 0.5 km to the center of Tahko. This cottage has no lack of atmosphere. Please note that the cabin has a boat staircase and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
