Everything about my stay was lovely. Rikey and Paddy are probably the most purehearted and genuine people I’ve met. They were helpful in every way. I felt at home during my whole visit even if it was my first time in Ireland. They are loving against their animals and the environment is pure relaxation with flowers and plants and they are also two talented people. I feel both inspired and energized after my visit 💘very thankful for this!

We spent our first 2 nights in Windgap while visiting Ireland and we certainly would have loved to stay longer. The accommodations were as pictured. Beautiful rooms, cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen where we were able to cook Easter Sunday dinner, and the grounds were gorgeous. Plus, my children loved the animal visitors! We found a lot to do and see in the surrounding area as well. Highly recommend!

myself my son and daughter in law plus 2 large dogs stayed one night at John's place as we had a dog show on the sunday in clonmel. what a FAB-U-LOS place it was. totally spotless, lovely bathroom with a bath and a shower, wood and tiled floors all through downstairs, loads of spare bedding and clean towels in the hall cupboard, beds were very comfy, and loads of hot water, it really was just like being at home. garden is not huge but the walk along the river on a sunny evening is a must, pub is just accross the road but they dont serve food after 4pm but thats not a problem as just a few doors away is a chip shop doing fab food. dogs enjoyed their stay as well plenty of room in the kitchen/diner to put up their cages, and have a run around the garden before bed. it was very much appreciated that John took the trouble to leave us bread,butter,fruit juice and a bowl of fresh fruit. thank you John for being a perfect host, will see you in August. regards Denise,Phillip, Dawn & dogs.
