"SUMIRE AOI HOUSE" is a small Japanese house. The basic structure of the house was designed in 1952 by Makoto Masuzawa, a leading architect in Japan. And the house was redesigned by Makoto Koizumi in 1999. I had lived 20 years with my family. The sense of space by the south-facing large windows and the stairwell, it will make you attracted. From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.

100-year-old wooden house/ 1min to the station

This house was built more than 100 years ago (survived WW2 and some great earthquakes), and was renovated recently. It is located just 1min away from Hiroo subway station (Hibiya-line). Hiroo is one of most popular residential neighborhood in Tokyo. There are many restaurants and shops in Hiroo and it is very easy to access to Ebisu, Roppongi (3min by subway), Shibuya and Omote-sando (within 3km).

築100年を迎える古民家は世代を超えて時間を超えて受け継がれてきました。22.5畳の広い居間にはまず寝転んでみましょう。それからぐるりと囲まれた縁側にさす木漏れ日を楽んで。 買い物は地元スーパーのヤオミネで。ちなみに近くにコンビニはありません。 海街はなんといっても朝がおすすめ。 いつもより少し早起きしたら、シャワーなんか浴びなくていいからまず海に行ってみて。裸足になって海を散歩。 足の裏に感じる砂の感触や温度、少し冷たい海水にいつのまにか体が目を覚まします。 帰りはぜひ腰越駅から帰ってみてください。駅には腰越のお母さんたちが毎月制作している季節の折り紙が飾られています。
