Holiday rentals in Noardeast-Fryslân

We stayed with Jildou for a week and felt super comfortable. It was not a problem to arrive with 8 adults and 2 children (2 years) by arrangement with her. The house is in a quiet area and is only 5 min walk from the beach. The house is very lovingly decorated and equipped with the most important things. In addition, everything was very clean. For the children, behind the house, there is a small sandbox and toys. Not far from the house you can rent ferries. We had a very nice contact with Jildou. She was always available, helpful and friendly. We also didn't mind adjusting our travel period at short notice. All in all, I highly recommend the accommodation. We certainly weren't there for the last time! :)

Everything was great, I can highly recommend this stay. Everything as described. Nothing to complain! We will come back :)

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

What a beautiful view, within walking distance beach and Nes, where there is much to experience. The cottage itself is complete and basic. Fully equipped, nothing missing and everything works.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!

Lovely home away from home to stay in. Very central located in Ameland for discovering the full island. Walking distance to the Wadden. The horses on the property makes the view extra prestine. Gerlies is very helpful we borrowed her BBQ and blender for home pasta sauce. We are able to rent bikes that were delegated at the house and from the house we were anle to bike all across the island. The house is very homely and comfortable for 10 people. Beautiful big garden with grass to play or picknick. We took our labradoodle with and she also loved the garden and being with us on vacation. Only tip for other tourists: Book your ferry/ veerboot tickets on time ;-). We enjoy the stay in Gerlies house a lot. Well recommended.

Very friendly host Mr. Alfred, communicates a lot and is helpful. The location of the bungalow is fantastic, near the dunes and the beach with lots of hiking and cycling possibilities. The reception and facilities of holiday park Klein water are also in walking distance. The bungalow was super clean and more than completely furnished. We had a misunderstanding about the bedding(not present) but that could be fixed soon. The bedrooms and plumbing are compact and slightly dated but very functional. Fine beds by the way. There are also modern, quite young bungalows through commercial businesses in the immediate vicinity, for rent which are a bit cheaper but they miss the "personal touch". We had a great stay.
