The cabin "Utsikten" was newly renovated in 2019 and new bathroom no. 2 in the summer of 2024. New barbecue hut 2025. The place is for us essentially a place to retreat and find real peace and quiet without meeting any people nearby. "Utsikten" is located at the top and is the closest neighbor to a fantastic nature experience - Synnfjell with Spåtind as the highest peak at 1414 m.a.s.l. Spåtind (1414 m.a.s.l.) is about 10 km away and can be reached both on skis and on foot. There are also many other nice top tours in Synnfjellet. Synnfjellporten is a few kilometers away and serves food and drinks on weekends and holidays. The cabin is peaceful and quiet and has only a few neighbors. You can hear the sound of the river Synna flowing just past.

Cabin with a fantastic view. The breathtaking landscape can be enjoyed all year round, with plenty of opportunity to experience the beauties of nature and wildlife. Here, free-range sheep roam from May to September, and with a little luck you can also see moose. From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.
