Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nordstrand

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer! The view of the water and the view are a highlight. The house is very cozily furnished and nothing was missing.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here. From the attentiveness of the hosts, and the condition of their beautiful home and everything in between it was an absolute stress free stay. I can’t thank ours hosts Erik and Anita enough for opening their beautiful home to my family and me. Would stay here again without question. Five stars all around from top to bottom!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. Nina's place is lovely. Very easy to get into Oslo from the house, and very easy to get to and from the airport. When we messaged Nina to ask a question, she responded helpfully and very quickly. The log fire was a highlight, really made the house feel cosy and warm. We definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful house.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Linn & Lasse put themselves out to accommodate us at very short notice, extremely grateful. Really special long weekend for us, an experience we won’t forget. Lovely setting for a memorable stay. Will hopefully revisit in the near future and will hope to stay at Linns again.

I had a wonderful stay at Caren's place. The property was clean (except a few dog hairs), cozy and very well appointed. Communication with Caren was always friendly and helpful, and she made me feel welcome from the beginning. The quiet location was ideal for relaxing. The location of the place is perfect – just 2 minutes to the bus stop which leads directly to the train station, and from there it's only 15 minutes to Oslo. The house is superbly equipped and has all the necessary amenities one needs. The view from the outside is beautiful and offers a magnificent backdrop. I highly recommend this place and Caren as a host.

We had a great stay! The appartement is super cosy and well decorated. It is a short walk from the station (15 minutes) and has a lot of nice bars and restaurants in the close proximuty. The check in and check out was super Quick just as the response time of the hosts, highly recommend!

Hanne's apartment is fantastic—cozy, beautifully designed, and very well-equipped. The location is excellent, with great connectivity to the city center and key attractions. It's just a short walk to the bus stop, which takes you to the city in about 10 minutes. Communication with Hanne was seamless. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again if we visit Oslo in the future.

I have been to many fabulous airbnbs in my life but Sophia's is the absolute best. It is one of the most beautiful, most elegantly designed, most carefully decorated spaces I have ever been in, and it is--somehow--even cozier and nicer than what it looks like in the photos. And the best part? Sophia! She's the friendliest, kindest host I have ever met. Bottom line: book it as fast as you can!

This home smells delicious and is incredibly pretty. Wonderful use of wood materials. Lovely garden. Al and Ingrid were really nice hosts. My youngest even got to feed the hens in the garden. It was a big deal. Thank you very much for your stay. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay, nice host and super convenient apartment. Close to the train that runs with frequent service to the city centre. I was here with my little ones and we could use an absolutely super playground in the kindergarten in the neighborhood. Very good value for money! We also had a meal outside together in the cozy place outside the apartment, in delicious evening sun. Just good words about the stay here!

ÅA central and great apartment that was really clean and neat, one quiet neighborhood and a nice host👌. It made the stay extra nice and here we want to come back. Perfect for couples or family on Oslo walk with walking distance to most of it and parking garage nearby. Highly recommended 🫶

Super cozy cabin, clean and very nice that it is so close to Oslo!

We had an incredibly lovely time staying at Martha's cabin. If you are looking for a quiet break for relaxation, it is perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

I stayed at Sidsel's cabin for 2 nights with my family including a little child and dog. After being guided to the cabin by Sidsel -as the cabin is not directly reachable by car- and being showed around, we had an excellent stay. Despite having some rainy days, the location gives you diverse possibilities to do as hiking, swimming, canoeing or -if the weather doesn't make you want to go outside- just staying around the chimney with a view on the lake. I can highly recommend staying at Sidsels place. Also the communication with her is very easy and friendly. Looking forward to stay there again :)

We loved our stay. The chalet is super comfortable and very well-equipped. It is located in a green and very quiet location. A real haven of peace. Bernt and Vanja were very kind and attentive with us. Lots of kindness to us. To visit Oslo by car, it is ideal. You can go there without a second thought!

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in November. It’s in the middle of the forest with no phone signal, so it was lovely to have a digital detox! There is a great view over the lake from the dining table and terrace. We cooked hot dogs, burgers and marshmallows on the outside fire pit, went for a walk in the woods and played games :)

We had a great time at the cabin. It had a very well equipped kitchen and a very spacious and cozy living room. We would love to come back another time!

A beautiful location, the most amazing view and a very lovely house. We even did some fishing with the boat. Very comfortable house and lovely covered porch.
