It is a rustic house built on the city walls by peasants with farmlands in the Moratalla valley that has been modified over time to accommodate modern tastes. For example, the fireplace was used until the early twenty-first century as the kitchen of the home, but it now has a wood stove insert and the modern bedroom on the top floor was not long ago a dry storage space for local produce throughout the year .
