The main building is newly built in 2021 with new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors towards the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but outside and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area with proximity to the forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The house shares land with a larger house where the landlord lives. Perfect house for those who plan to move to Sweden while you are looking for your dream home.

Escape the hustle and bustle in our cozy and spacious tent, in the middle of the green but still close to the inhabited world. Walk into the forest or to the swimming/fishing pond, about a 15-minute walk. A 10-minute drive from supermarket, beach and restaurant. Price includes use of our sauna, fire pit and BBQ. This is our cosy house in the center of Hällefors, Sweden. The beautiful nature is right outside, where you can run, hike and go skiing in the winter. There are fishing and bathing opportunities just a short drive away. It's an 8 minute walk to the nearest store, and a one hour drive to get to big cities like Örebro and Karlstad. The house has wifi, and a small, nice sauna. You can enjoy the big garden, and eat as much berries and rhubarb that you like. Large parking space. Quiet neighbourhood.

Maisans Stuga is a small but nice cottage. It is idyllically located right on the water. You can swim in the lake, fish, hike in the surrounding nature, cycle, read on the porch directly on the lake or simply enjoy the view and unwind. In Kloten, about 10 km away, there is the possibility to rent canoes or bicycles. In Kopparberg, about 12 km away, there are good shopping opportunities, cafes, restaurants, museums...

A cottage in the middle of the forest near Högsjö

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.
