Bredsanden, which is a fantastic sandy beach that is child-friendly, is secluded and is 200 meters away from the house. There is an option to fish in Lake Vänern without a fishing license. FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The lake is large and there is a row boat for guest usage. The cabin has one full bedroom and one spacious sleeping loft with two beds and additional storage space. It also has one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and access to a porch with a fantastic view.
