The Bohemian Firehouse was the living quarters for the men stationed there when it was built in 1916. It sits above a retail space which housed the firetruck. The charming brick building is in near original condition, despite surviving a major flood and a derecho. You'll love the gorgeous woodwork, vintage tile and light fixtures. But you'll appreciate some modern touches like air conditioning, an updated kitchen and smart tv. Still, it's easy to imagine the stories these walls could tell.

The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.
