Apartment holiday rentals in North Shields

A really really lovely apartment, spotlessly clean but also felt comfortably at home here. Love the attention to detail of local connections in the information and the artworks. The instructions were clear, the bed was so comfortable. I was visiting family, so if need be you could easily work remotely in this space which I might do in future! Hosts left lots of information for guests. Short walk to the harbour which has become so popular these days and also worth a walk up to noses point, an area of outstanding beauty . The double bed mattress, pillows and duvet were very comfortable for a good nights sleep. Also the tassimo machine for coffee and hot chocolate was great and Deb left milk in fridge for us too, thank you. Will definitely be using again if it’s available when we revisit - highly recommend. Oh and parking in the cul de sac outside is nice and easy. I’m particularly grateful as I was looking last minute and Deb was as very quick to help. Gem of a place :)

All went well. Clear instructions about self check-in. Lovely, cosy home, separate sitting/dining area for guests, with access to a secluded garden. Very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge/microwave if needed.

If you are looking for a lovely personal accomodation that sleeps upto 6 people thats a cab ride from Newcastle city centre... then this is the place for you! It even has a hot tub! We had an amazing stay here and we will definitely be back again in the future. The host was great.. Welcomed with a nice bottle of bubbly and lots of extra bits that we werent expecting to be included. You will not be disappointed. Thankyou

Lovely flat in a very central location, and great hosts with very clear instructions.

We had a lovely stay at the Seaglass apartment. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and just across the road from Seaham's beautiful beaches. Paul was really friendly and responsive to any questions.

Jessica was great helped us throughout the whole stay, the place was amazing and we really had a cinematic experience, will definitely look to book again!!

Great dog friendly apartment in the centre of Durham. On a busy road but apartment is at the back of the building so is really quiet. Lovely big garden. No parking immediately outside but found metered space quite easily 5 minutes away. Well equipped and very clean. Would definitely recommend

Lovely upper two floor flat opposite park. Huge living room with views over the park and sea beyond. Lots of space and had everything we needed. Plenty to do around and 15 minute walk to metro to get into Newcastle.

Fantastic homely property. Ideal for South Shields and access to fantastic beach. Host was 5 star and property was spotless clean. Make sure you follow the eating out recommendations, we loved them..

Great quirky place in an excellent central location

Really enjoyed our stay with Julie and Jamie. It was easy to find No. 15 and easy to park very close by. Jamie greeted us and showed us up to our apartment, which was clean and warm. He offered to help us with our luggage. They had made it feel very homely from the decor and soft furnishings, to the truly excellent human and dog welcome baskets. The immediate location is excellent, full of restaurants, cafes and pubs within 5 minutes walk. In the welcome folder is a list of recommendations on where to go with a note of whether they are dog friendly or not. Really helpful. The beach is literally at the bottom of the street and my dog loved maurauding around after the ball, Julie had kindly popped in the dog welcome box. It's about a 10 minute walk to Spanish City, along the beach/promenade or to the main street, which has some nice independent shops and an excellent craft beer tap room/bottle shop, Nord.

Really enjoyed our stay here, central location, perfect size and amenities for what we needed.

Second stay at Neil’s place.. Everything thing you need is there, the place is absolutely spotless. We even had Xmas decorations😀 Great place to visit Newcastle and Durham etc.. very homely, can’t recommend it enough. Great place great Hosts

Had booked in for its location! Was in the heart of South Shields and you could really head to the beach walking. I would book here again if I need to be in Sunderland or Newcastle for the day. The house was decorated in a unique style. I enjoyed the modern decor. It has been kept very clean. Yasmin, was very responsive and helpful. All in all I recommend it again. Would come back here sooner than expected. Thanks

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

I visited Newcastle and surroundings, travelling by myself from mainland Europe. The apartment is clean and spacious and I loved that it's minimal yet cosy and light. If you're a bit more sensitive: the bedroom is situated on the side of a busier road. If you keep the bedroom window closed, there's no noise. I opened the window at night and used ear plugs - worked fine. At 5 minutes walking distance from metro and small shops. A 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach. Tomara was very friendly ad prompt in her communication and thinks along if you have a question. Recommend staying there!

Amazing location and great value for money.

Nick was an amazing host and we felt right at home for our one month stay, the house match the description and many amenities were provided. The kitchen was complete with the all the necessary utensils and we had no problem cooking everyday.
