North Lodge is a charming/cozy 1890's gate house

North Lodge is a late 19th century gate house, belonging to the Guyzance Hall Estate. It has been fully refurbished bringing it up to modern standards, but still retaining its old charm. With a cozy wood burner, there is a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen leading out on to a south facing court yard, with a large garden surrounding it, and its own drive. The cottage is situated at the east end of the small hamlet of Guyzance, close to Walkworth and the beautiful Northumberland coast.

Recently refurbished in November 2025, Marine Cottage is a beautifully presented stone-built, mid-terraced property located in the very heart of Amble, with only a few minutes walk to the harbour and beach. Shops, cafe’s and acclaimed local restaurants. The small beach with rocky outcrops has views towards the RSPB reserve Coquet Island, where puffins and grey seals are regularly seen is only a gentle stroll from Marine Cottage.
