Was a lovely stay and Thelma and her husband went above and beyond to be incredible hosts thank you for a lovely stay.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. The place felt very private and was in a great location to visit nearby towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

if I would like to live in Birmingham in the future I would like to stay in this place for forever ,so beautiful home management,coffe ,cookies for breakfast,design absolutely perfect British home I felt like very familiar in this place always recommended for everyone!☺️

The White Cottage hosted by Sally was so beautiful. We had a lovely relaxing break. Felt at home straight away and could relax instantly. The garden and hot tub area was also beautiful. Cannot recommend enough and wish our stay was longer.

We all had a lovely stay with Pete and Sue. The annexe was spacious and perfect for a group of 4! It was extremely homely and comfortable, you can’t fault it! We were very well welcomed by Milo who was a real character😅! They had great recommendations for the area which was stunning! It was easy to locate and had no trouble at all! Hugely appreciated their hospitality and was definitely worth the visit. We hope to come back to the area soon!😁

Brilliant location, homely feel and a host that couldn’t have provided for us. From a complimentary breakfast selection of pasty’s, eggs and cereals to a written booklet of places to eat / drink / party in the evening only in a less then 10 minute taxi drive away. Beautiful surrounding scenery with friendly local pubs… Can’t recommend enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Little Rosewood. It was so comfortable and just what we needed for a mini getaway. It’s situated in the perfect location and Stow was beautiful. Natasha was such a welcoming host and greeted us with some terrific treats! We’ll definitely be coming back here and would highly recommend it!

The BEST air bnb we’ve stayed in! So peaceful, beautiful views of sheep in the fields. The place is so clean and have EVERYTHING you could need! The dressing gowns were great for the hot tub! We loved the fresh bread, crisps and salsa as a lovely extra and a bottle of cava! We were celebrating our 1st anniversary so this was such a lovely surprise! Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. The kitchen has everything you need as well as milk, butter and orange juice. It was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful. Will recommend to all friends and family and would definitely return!

The place was spotless, cosy, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, especially with the lovely welcome hamper that was thoughtfully provided. The property had all the amenities we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Laura was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed and checking in to make sure our stay was going smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Lovely, very well equipped accommodation, with everything of excellent quality. Extremely dog friendly- Sally even provides a sheet to allow fur babies to sleep on the bed which ours does, with easy access to the secure garden. We spent a very comfortable 4 days and would return.

We had a great stay for the weekend! Claire was very welcoming & had stocked the fridge for us which was hugely appreciated after a long drive. There was even homemade cake which was delicious! The property was clean & the bed(s) were comfortable. The cottage is lovely & peaceful, and the public footpaths around the woods next door were stunning…bluebells everywhere! The property was perfect for what we needed. Thanks for having us!

lovely little spot in a quiet location I was staying for work, so everything met my required needs. Was a little cold at night (march), until I figured out how to use the heater, then the place was very cosy.

We popped to Broadway for the day and decided last minute to stay over nearby. Clare was really helpful (as this was my first time using Airbnb), the instructions were really clear, no pressure to arrive at any particular time and self check in was easy, so we were able to relax and enjoy our day. We ate out this time but next time will definitely make use of the fantastic kitchen to cook ourselves, and the living room meant we could properly relax later in the evening. The bathroom, as with the whole place, was immaculate. Towels provided, hairdryer, shampoo etc. Felt very private and we’ll definitely use again. Thanks Clare!!

lovely place to stay in, very clean and tidy Julia was very responsive and gave a full list of things to do locally. April Cottage was immaculate and had more than enough than we required for our stay. (lovely little welcome gift which was unexpected) Hottub was perfect and clean. Pub and shop in walking distance was excellent. (Had a lovely meal in the Pheasant pub!!)

Great communication, Andrew responded immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. Directions were very clear and we found The Duck House easily in day light. Andrew met us on arrival offering assistant at anytime throughout our stay. Walking into the accommodation we knew we had chosen well, what a great little find. Everything was very clean and organised and finished to a very high standard and with all that we needed and more. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and meant I didn't need to pack anything from home (apart from conditioner) There is a main chain Superstore 8 minute drive away which houses a coffee shop and pharmacy and it was a 25minute drive to Redbridge Park and Ride to visit wonderful Oxford. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much Andrew & Hilary.

wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. the cottage is located in their backyard and you both have complete privacy as well as use of the garden. i was made to feel very mucg at home and had wonderful exchanges with Brenda, who was the only there at the time I was living there. I can highly recommend it, a bit outside Oxford city but there is a bus nearbu going straight to town

This was our second stay at Angie and Steve’s gem of a cottage. It was just as good as our first stay. Everything is in tip top working order and the thoughtful touches from the host were appreciated. Will be back to stay again when visiting the Cambridge area.

Perfect place for our overnight stay. Lindsay welcomed us with perfect balance between being informative/helpful without being intrusive. We felt at home straight away. The place was spotless and beds very clean and comfortable. The beer to chill on the balcony in the evening and coffee bags to help me wake up for our early start in the morning were all welcome. Would stay again if in the area.

We had a lovely couple of days at Anthracite Cottage. Donna was lovely and had left some very welcome treats (thank you Donna!). It was a great base from which to explore the local area and the village was a walkable distance. Would love to come back again if we needed to x

We had a wonderful stay here , beautifully decorated and felt very comfortable garden was lovely - very accommodating host . We went to the whichford pottery cafe which was very near and excellent for lunch . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you so much
