Very good and peaceful place

The house is very beautiful with everything you could possibly need and Sascha was a very helpful and friendly host. The location is absolutely fabulous.

This was the 1st time we have used contemporary Hotels, definitely will be looking to book directly in the near future. During our stay, I visited the shop front (Palm Beach) for a sticky beak and purchased some lovely pieces. Fabulous buisness.

Great place- lovely spot, epic views, and location was amazing. Beautifully decorated and great pool and outdoor area. Struggled slightly with noise from the road at night- which although not busy during day felt quite noisy at night, so take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Also didn’t feel as private as we thought, as the flat downstairs felt part of the property. The hosts were staying when we arrived and were really lovely and helpful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we loved freshwater and are very grateful to have found your place.

Very nice place with an exceptional view. Great amenities and everything Evelyn laid out was mentioned in her instructions. Of course the one thing missing was air con but there are fans both ceiling and standing which made it easier for us. Everything was close by including shops and restaurants/pubs in Avalon so that wasn’t an issue. We will be back!!

My parents, daughter and I really enjoyed staying at Bruce and Karen’s place. They provided everything you needed just feel like at home. It’s a well built two bedroom pool house surrounded by greens that let you feel like you’re having a vacation. The location is walkable to local businesses, banks,?public transport (Chatswood train, Metro and bus stations) and international restaurants. Plus, friendly hosts!

Had a wonderful stay. House is modern, spotless and comfortable and has everything you would need. Easy transport to Manly. Bus just outside front gate, and then a quick ferry to Sydney of you want. For us it was the best of both worlds, laid back Manly beach and quick and easy journey to the hustle and bustle of Sydney on the ferry. Tim was a lovely host and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. If we are dver back in this area, we would love to stay here again. 😊

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the beach and a gentle walk to town through the park. The accommodation had everything we needed, a great space. The boys loved the pool table.

I got the house for my brother’s family, who had moved to the US and was coming back for a family funeral. Our parent’s house was right around the corner so it was easy to get together with all the family. Walkable to shopping malls, Woolies, excellent local shops( high st - butcher, fish, deli and groceries, penshurst for post office international grocer’s Mediterranean and Asian ) plenty of restaurants, take away and a pub ( hidden gem Willoughby pub upstairs, we had a family get together in private lounge room) . Thank you Colleen lovely stay very nostalgic and different for my brother returning to the family stomping ground.

We spent an enjoyable 11 days in Sunshine Cottage, a charming cottage at the rear of Clive and Teresa's house in a lovely quiet residential area of Manly Vale.  Conveniently located 10 min walk to Coles supermarket and similar walk to catch B line bus into City (25 min journey), 20 min walk to Manly north beach and 30 min walk to Wharf to catch ferry.  Accommodation was more spacious than photos actually showed. The garden was  lovely with outside dining area and BBQ. The complimentary milk, jam, butter, croissants abd cookies  were much appreciated on arrival, a nice touch . Clive was a great host and we loved meeting Layla the black labrador. 

Kelly was a great host, really helpful and responsive. The beach house was exactly as described and fitted our purpose very well. Fantastic location 3/4 minutes away from shops/bakeries/great food outlets and then on another 6 minutes to the beach. The overhead electric fans in 3 of the bedrooms were really effective, as good as a/c. The beds were all super comfortable, and bedding really clean. The living space is extended by a covered area and a sofa outside, a large table and chairs and a bbq. We would definitely stay again.

This place was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. A perfect place to stay for work with my small dog. The unit is just off from the main house but very private, and means the host is always close if needed. Would recommend.

We stayed at Michael’s house for 4 nights, family of 3 , (Audlts) and it was just perfect for our needs . It was very clean and comfortable, short walk to the beach at Manly, which has some beautiful cafes and restaurants. Really loved the house and the area , would definitely book again.

Really great ‘home from home’ with beautiful interior and amazing outside space. We felt very comfortable and relaxed here, it has everything you could need for a smaller sized holiday home. Location was very chilled, all local neighbours friendly and you have great tennis courts (where I had some coaching) and easy access to manly loop just up the road. Kristin was very good at communication throughout and checked us in herself. The pool is lovely and garden so peaceful. Would defo come again.

Awesome place in magical location. We spend there 6! Weeks and loved every day; stylish house, well kept pool, proximity to village and beach (both walking distance).

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was super – close to beaches and national park yet quiet and peaceful. The suburban leafy setting was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be booking again in the future. My husband surprised our parents on a little getaway, we had a disruption before the trip and Melinda was so helpful in trying to accommodate us which all worked out so well in the end. We were welcomed by Andrew on arrival to a beautiful home as pictured and fresh bread from the local bakery which was delicious. The well decorated home was very clean, tidy and gardens in pristine condition. There were lots of little areas to relax in the home itself to read a book, simply have a little time alone or relax by the pool. Location was fantastic, close to cafe, shops and walking distance from the beach. Everything we needed was there for us and we couldn’t ask for anything more. We had such a peaceful, relaxing getaway to Melinda and Andrew’s home. Would recommend it to anyone.

Loved the place for every single moment of this stay and Dylan was a fantastic host! The view is all worth it, clear instruction to find the private parking spot and as you get up the stairs, you just felt the real view is way better than the pictures and it’s so peaceful to just zone out with the sunset. Highly recommend this place, bed is so comfortable as well!!

The house is in a fantastic location. We didn’t have a car and could walk to everything. We had young kids with us, so the big front yard with a secure perimeter, meant that we didn’t have to be watching them all the time. We had everything we needed.

My family enjoyed our stay at this right at home beach house. Everything was so well placed with artistic surprises at every corner. The hosts are easy to reach and make you feel right at home with complete privacy. I highly recommend and will likely visit again for a beach getaway!

As a whole, private, house Nicole’s is spacious and fully equipped. The host made all its resources available, including basic kitchen ingredients and ‘toys’ such as small motor boat, kayak, buggy, trampoline and children’s toys. We made good use of all of these. Scotland Island is unusual in having no shops, few cars and lots of bush, all of which we loved. The house has a delightful view across the water to Kuringai Chase national park, and there are plenty of enjoyable bush walks. The house block, like most on the Island, is steep and the house itself has steep stairs, so is not suitable for people who have mobility restrictions. Nicole was very responsive and gave detailed instructions on how to get to the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
