It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

The entrance of a round, whimsical structure features a large wooden door set in a vibrant purple facade. Lush greenery and colorful flowers surround the entrance, while a stone path leads to the doorway, inviting exploration of the unique interior.

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Our charming historic classic adobe casita is an easy ten minute walk to the Santa Fe Plaza, dining, and museums. We offer private off street parking for two vehicles. The interior features classic Santa Fe style wood beam Viga ceilings, kiva fireplace stocked with wood, skylights, a full kitchen living area, private bedroom, soaking tub, modern appliances, washer & dryer, swamp cooler, WIFI, flat-screen TV, a lovely enclosed courtyard with mature trees and BBQ. Charming adobe casita with the best view in Taos! Located in the historic area of El Prado, its just a 5 minute drive to downtown Taos and a 15 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. Tastefully decorated with handpicked antiques, this little spot boasts a nice kitchen and an old Kiva fireplace in the traditional New Mexican style. The views out the front windows could not be better, and more often than not the sunsets will leave you breathless. Enjoy a true New Mexico getaway!
