Helgeland Room 2 - Sleeps 4

Me and my wife host Hugla Camp and accommodation, a completely renovated school in a beautiful setting on the island of Hugla, located about 7 minutes by ferry from Nesna. Here we have nice nature to walk in, walks to, and lakes to swim in. If you like to walk on a plain path, the opportunities for this are here too and then you will probably meet some of the island's nice people. At Campen there is a large garden with barbecue area and benches where you can barbecue and enjoy seagull screams and possibly a moose passing by.

A private island in the middle of the Luleå river

Welcome to your very own island in the Luleå River – a place for those seeking peace, seclusion and a simple life close to nature. No amenities beyond the necessary – just what makes the place special. This is not a modern home or a luxurious holiday cottage, but a deliberately simple summer place in the genuine 1960s spirit. You park the car and then take about 8 minutes by boat to the island. Electricity is available, but there is no running water. Fresh water is collected on the mainland.
