Helgeland Room 2 - Sleeps 4

Me and my wife host Hugla Camp and accommodation, a completely renovated school in a beautiful setting on the island of Hugla, located about 7 minutes by ferry from Nesna. Here we have nice nature to walk in, walks to, and lakes to swim in. If you like to walk on a plain path, the opportunities for this are here too and then you will probably meet some of the island's nice people. At Campen there is a large garden with barbecue area and benches where you can barbecue and enjoy seagull screams and possibly a moose passing by.

No amenities beyond the necessary – just what makes the place special. This is not a modern home or a luxurious holiday cottage, but a deliberately simple summer place in the genuine 1960s spirit. You park the car and then take about 8 minutes by boat to the island. Electricity is available, but there is no running water. Fresh water is collected on the mainland.

Private island and small cabin

1ha Private island, small cabin and lakeside sauna. Beds for 4-6. Gas stove, 2x fireplace. One separate bedroom and in the living room there's two sofas suitable for sleeping. Electricity comes from the sun and, if necessary, from generator. Outdoor sauna (no shower) and outhouse (no WC). Water from well. You can swim directly from the sauna at your own small sandy beach, or you can even splash into the water from the pier. Access to island by boat takes about 6 minutes.

The kitchen You are most welcome to use our guest kitchen. Next to the kitchen is our living room where you have your meal, play chess or games, read and meet other guests. Outdoor kitchen We also have an outdoor kitchen as well as two gas grills, the suite includes bed linen towels and breakfast Check-in/Check-out Times Check-in: 1 pm Check-out: 12 pm The wood-fired crown sauna is booked by noting your name and the time you want to sauna on the reservation board.

Vakthusøya - Nybryggen - on a small island

Vakthusøya is an island, about 150 meters from Henningsvær, where you use a small motorboat for access. Parking is approx. 100 meters from the floating dock by boat. Nybryggen is the place if you like an authentic place on an island, very quiet and at the same time a few minutes of rotating from the famous fishing community of Henningsvær. The apartment is in an original rorbu bridge, overlooks and is an excellent starting point for all activities in the area.

Atmosphere in the middle of Iijoki

Peaceful unique place. House with all amenities. You'll have access to a lot, a wood sauna, an electric sauna, a rowing boat, and fishing gear. In the summer, you can enjoy the surrounding river by swimming, rowing, or fishing. In winter, you'll be wearing a starry sky and maybe even the Northern Lights. In winter, you can ski, walk, or snowmobile on the river ice. The sea is about 2 kilometers from the cottage. Great for staying overnight or longer stays.

Loue Island - A true Finnish experience

ONLY FOR THE MORE ADVENTUROUS ONES! A log cabin built in the 1960s on a small island. This is the only property on the island; there are no other cabins, houses, or anything. You are alone in peace. This is not your usual Airbnb. Here, you will have to get your own water from the well or the lake. Chop some firewood. Start a fire. But you will surely have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is a unique opportunity to experience a true Finnish lifestyle.
