Holiday rentals with breakfast in Norway

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

Nydelig feriested, stort og fint hus. Vi var to familier som hadde en fantastisk ferieuke her! Det var fint både inne og ute, så vi koste oss uansett vær. Nydelig natur med nærhet til både badestrand og turmuligheter. Vi hadde en hyggelig opplevelse av verten som bisto om det skulle være noe og var lett å kommunisere med. Kan virkelig anbefale dette huset.

Bra beliggenhet – veldig sentralt og tilgjengelig! Gøy med biljard også :)

We had a wonderful week at Line's house which we found very comfortable, cosy and well-appointed. We very much enjoyed the veranda, the garden and all the red summer fruits! The house is close to Oslo with its many attractions, but at the same time situated in a nice and quiet sub-urban neighbourhood. Our host had gone to great lengths to receive us in person and make us feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Veldig koselig gammelt posthus. Den perfekte overnattingen for vår familie på vei over fjellet. Meget god «frokostkurv» med blant annet hjemmelaget syltetøy. Vi kommer gjerne igjen en gang

En perle av et sted i nærhet av Steinkjer. Fantastisk utsikt og vakre omgivelser. Smakfullt innredet bolig. Profesjonell vert som er vennlig og proaktiv. Verten hadde til og med lagt frem frokost og kaffe! Stedet kan anbefales på det varmeste, og er veldig godt egnet for å slappe av og lade batteriene.

Perfect place for one (or more!) nights in Bergen. A short walk from the bus and train station. Very quiet and clean.

The landlord and the housekeeper are warm and hospitable, with prompt and responsive communication. The room is fully equipped with all necessary amenities, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the surrounding environment is also very lovely.

This is a great apartment, beautifully furnished and an excellent location - the tram stop is right outside, and made it so easy to get around. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We had a brilliant trip!

Helt super leilighet med sentral beliggenhet. Rent, ryddig og veldig behagelig å bo i. Alt fungerte som det skulle, og jeg ville definitivt leid igjen.👍

Tres bon accueil par Marie. Le logement avec accès independant est très confortable , cosy. Marie était toujours là pour nous aider( j ai égaré un objet ds le train, elle a tout de suite téléphoné pour nous). Noys voulions un logement proche de la gare, dans un endroit tranquille. C etait bien le cas. Petit dejeuner copieux +extra ds le frigo et congelateur.

Located a bit from central Tromsö in a quiet and calm area, we stayed in this cosy and personal apartment provided with everything we needed, and more. For example food and snacks, a balcony and a bathtub. Much appreciated. Wonderful views of mountains, and fjords not far away. And a bus-stop within a couple of minutes walk. Sten-Viktor is the most nice, friendly, generous, helpful and thoughtful host you can imagine. Always ready to help, easy to reach, and is quick to answer any question you may have. We took a chance and came with a little short notice, and he was very flexible and made us feel so very welcome. A most recommendable place to stay!

Hej! Vi var i Oslo för att se musikalen Jakten på prinsessa. Loftet låg i ett mysigt område i perfekt läge mellan centrum och Riksteatret. Simona var en bra värd och kommunikationen var perfekt. Vi kom sent på kvällen och ett stort plus var smörgåsar, te och frukt som vi fick äta av. Då behövde vi inte söka upp en affär så sent på kvällen/natten för en kvällsfika. :) Tack för allt!

This place was so wonderful and magical. We loved our breakfast and Sidsel was a wonderful host who helped us find a beautiful nature route up to Trondheim. We ate apples and berries and saw many sheep. We hope to come back one day 😊

This place is a steal! Inger went above and beyond by picking me up from the light rail stop later at night. She was very hospitable and kind, answering any questions I had about the area, telling me exactly which trains and buses to take to town. The unit is upstairs and has everything you need, from a little kitchenette to a cozy bed, desk, and she even made breakfast. Felt like home! Book here if you ever travel to Bergen.

Had a fantastic stay. Lovely and warm host, beautiful and atmospheric house and garden. Great location, beautiful views and close to the stone age rock carvings. The breakfast served was tasty and cozy too 😁. would have loved to stay for longer and hope to visit again. can warmly recommend.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Gjertrud. La vue depuis le salon est majestueuse. Le dîner fait avec un poisson local était excellent, la chambre confortable. Nous avons fait une baignade le lendemain matin et échangé plus ensemble ensuite dans son petit café sur la plage. Je repars enrichie de toutes mes expériences chez Gjertrud.

Nous avons passé un nuit agréable chez Anne Hélène. Le logement est très bien pour un court passage à Bergen. Le quartier est tres charmant et calme. Le petit déjeuner proposé typiquement norvegien vaut le détour.

We had a great time at Espen's and Terese's place. They are very kind, quiet and friendly people. The day we arrived they were not at home and told us everything we needed to know to arrive safely and get inside in advance. When we arrived, everything was quiet and peaceful. The house is beautiful and clean. Breakfast was already prepared. We were allowed to use their kitchen and sit on the terrace where we watched a beautiful sunset while relaxing over a cup of tea. All in stillness and completely unbothered. The room was quiet, secluded and comfy, with bathroom and fridge in the hall. The following days breakfast was prepared well before we got up. Terese and Espen are very kind and helpful, making you feel at home. It didn't even feel like sometimes sharing a room. They let us use their canoes and we went canoeing on our last day, which Espen helped us carry to the lake, get onto the water and described the possible routes. It was a beautiful and memorable trip we won't forget 🌸
