The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full employment and have four small children.

Should they rain, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. It is a small simple cabin with great outdoor opportunities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also the convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

Here they live in an old barn restored with love, in the middle of beautiful nature between steep mountains. The harness has been used by the farm people for several generations before we bought the farm. Here, both shepherds and cows have resided – and now it is they who get to enjoy the tranquility and charm. Drinking water in the stream. Common outdoor toilet. Nice forest cabin in the woods of Brunlanes, located at Vannet Torsjø . Trout in the water, just use the boat and fish . Or just enjoy the silence . Must bring a sleeping bag. Bed space for 3 but can have a substrate for 1 extra if desired .Fine small aluminum rowing boat is located clear down by the water . If a boat is to be used, you must bring your own life jacket. Camping shower is hanging up by the cabin so it is possible to have a simple sink. The cabin is about 5-7 minutes away from the weekends
