Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

Situated in the country side, with no one around, the gorgeous Hardwick View Lodge. A lovely intimate space with the sounds of nature all around. You can go on many different walks, to close by places such as Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill. This is a perfect place for walkers or a couple wanting a romantic treat away, with a hot tub to relax in too. We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. Hazel Lodge is new to Sam’s Derbyshire cottage. This beautiful lodge is set on a working farm between south wingfield and crich. The lodge has 2 bedrooms 1 double and twin rooms, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The open plan living kitchen and dinning area is great for entertaining with a 40” smart tv. The hot tub is very private with looks down the valley great for star gazing! There is a big decking area with table and chairs for long nights sat outside.
