Monthly Rentals in Nun Monkton

Just got back from a birthday weekend at The Potting Shed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay perfect for a birthday weekend! We were pleasantly surprised to discover what a charming, quintessentially Yorkshire village Tockwith is. So beautiful all around not far from York. Kathleen was so helpful and friendly, very responsive to our questions and made us so welcome. Nothing was too much to ask. We would greatly consider staying here again, highly recommend.

We had a lovely little last minute weekend getaway for some much needed peace! Michelle was very helpful with helping us locate the cottage, sending me a clear detailed description of how to find it with many pictures making the check in experience nice and stress free :) the little cottage is so lovely, very well designed and looked after! Plenty spacious for 2 and had everything we needed, and the village was such a peaceful little place! Still had access to shops with a big retail park with everything we needed a 15 minute drive away, and a park and ride that was very affordable for a 20 minute bus ride into York to save on parking expenses. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely come back here when visiting York again! :)

If we could give Decca Cottage 6 or more stars, we would. We have stayed in 70 Air Bnbs and this has to be in our top 5. It is in a beautiful, peaceful location, yet close to York. The cottage is very well appointed; downstairs is a large kitchen with everything you'd need, a second powder room and a very cosy loungeroom with lovely decor, views and underfloor heating. Upstairs is the bedroom and ensuite. Both were pristine; lovely linen made for a wonderful 3 nights' sleep. We had a very relaxing time at Decca Cottage, spoilt by the goodies left by Debbie. Poppleton Park and Ride is close by and so convenient to get into York. Thanks again Debbie and Kevin for making our stay so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Decca Cottage!

We had a lovely stay, the view onto the garden was lovely. The accommodation was kitted out well and was really clean and cosy/comfy. The only slight issue was the sofa bed wasn't too comfy and the only bathroom was ensuite so person on the sofa bed had to come through the bedroom. So more ideal for two people in the very comfy king size bed! But overall lovely stay, thank you so much!
