A clean and suitably sized cottage. Peaceful location in “cottage village”, close to services. We received clear instructions on what to do. The cottage warmed up. Hailuoto is a diverse hiking destination.

We spent a week in a dream destination nestled deep in the woods yet perfectly situated on the shores of the Bottniska viken. The well-maintained villa offered everything you could want for the perfect getaway, complete with charming amenities. Every night, the stunning aurora borealis (Northern Lights) lit up the sky, creating a celestial spectacle we’ll never forget. Hiking through snow-dusted forests and venturing onto the icy terrain became thrilling new adventures for us. Lars, our host, was attentive and responsive, ensuring our stay was seamless. His traditional sauna? An absolute must-try—it added the perfect touch of local culture to our cozy evenings.

Spacious place with cabins. Modern with stunning views of the frozen lake. Tranquility with no price... Just a shame that there are no bathrooms in the cabins, because going out at night with the snow to go to the toilet...but it's also charming. We rented Andreas' snowmobile which allowed us to enjoy it when we wanted to without having to pick up the car to find the renters who charge exorbitant prices. A great advantage. Thank you for offering this service. Accommodation located 10 minutes by car from the airport and 20 minutes from Lulea, so very good location with a rental car. We would definitely pick up the same place if we returned to Lulea.

This was an incredible experience!! This stay and it’s host went far beyond anything we could have wished for. This place is perfect for a romantic couples holidays. The location, the cozyness, the cleanliness, the host support welcoming us and facilities for this stay were a 11/10. Basicly we would have given a 6 stars out of 5, if there was the option. “Wonderful stay in Maula” We had a fantastic stay at this cozy Airbnb! The place was just as described – modern, clean and very well equipped. We particularly liked the breathtaking view of the Finnish countryside and the tranquility of the surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for things to do in the area and made us feel comfortable at all times. We want to highlight the sauna, which was a real highlight – ideal for relaxing after an active day. The location was also excellent. We were lucky enough to be able to see the aurora lights several times. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

We stayed in Sonja and Börje's house for two weeks, the two live in the adjoining house and were always reachable and exceptionally helpful. They even lent us their car when we were having problems with our car. They had great tips for us and whenever available if we had any questions. The old house is super cozy, in the kitchen-living room you can bear it wonderfully even in bad weather. The toddler game room is worth its weight in gold! The tranquility and the ice-covered Baltic Sea on the doorstep, the northern lights with clear skies, the homemade cinnamon rolls that Sonja brought by, the equipment we were allowed to borrow, all this helped us to have a very relaxing vacation. It was also perfect and completely problem-free with our dogs. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. It was so secluded that the Northern Lights were clearly visible every night. We were welcomed by David's mother who was a wonderful and very welcoming woman. She clearly explained everything we needed to know for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will hopefully be back again.

Don‘t miss out the opportunity to stay with Jenny and Tobias if you can! Especially in winter, when you can feel the coziness surrounding this place and enjoy your private sauna and a dip into the sea afterwards. Jenny was happy to help all the time and answered incredibly quickly.
