So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

A 4-person sauna cottage completed in 2024 along a magnificent rapid. The calming rapids scenery guarantees a relaxing visit to Koskenrannan Helmi. The cottage is well suited for relaxation, fishing or even boating. In the large sauna of the cottage you can admire the flowing water, refreshment is easy in the always open rapids or in the outdoor hot tub. It's easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday resort. The bright and spacious cottage offers a 180-degree view of the lake, where you can see a pair of otters frolicking in the water. You can also see a beaver family at play in the nearby area. The separate sauna building also offers a beautiful view of the lake. Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! At the cottage you can enjoy a romantic holiday in a historic milieu or just go and relax with your friends and take a rowing boat to the lake. The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Please bring your own sheets & towels.
