Green Well Mill | River | Castro Laboreiro

Imagine yourself with your eyes closed, sitting on the rocks of a river and inhaling the purest and most peaceful air of the mountains. Take a deep breath! Open your eyes and discover these sensations in reality, on the banks of the Laboreiro River, in a unique retreat, restored from an old mill whose name was adopted from the Poço Verde (Green Well) located a few metres away and where the old Chocolate Factory that operated in these parts was also located.

With a capacity for 3 people, this vacation home offers two elegantly decorated bedrooms, where every detail has been carefully thought out to provide comfort and beauty. The first bedroom, with a luxurious double bed, is decorated in soft tones that invite rest, while the second bedroom, more intimate and cozy, has a single bed and an atmosphere that combines charm and serenity.

Stone house: wine with books, dogs and routes

The "caseiros" — the family that took care of the farm where our organic wine is currently grown — lived in this house. Restored in 2013, the old kitchen space with its "lareira", oven and stone sink was preserved, now a cool space to read, play or take a nap. The two open floors overlook the Miño River valley, which separates us from Portugal. Upstairs, to sleep or read; downstairs, where the animals used to be, to cook or go out to the small garden.

Our 2 Tiny houses bring you the comfort of a traditional home while allowing you to be in contact with nature, the view and the spring water that flows next door. The pool is a private spring water reservoir near the house and a larger, higher one. You cook and eat on the terrace. You wake up and have a view of the hills while hearing the birds chirping and the spring flowing. 15 minutes from Monçao and 30 minutes from Pinera Géres Park.
