Elvira’s place was very cozy and felt like a real home—not your typical generic Airbnb with uninspired IKEA furniture. The bathroom was modern with a great shower, while the rest of the apartment had a charming vintage vibe. Light sleepers should note that you can occasionally hear planes flying overhead as they prepare to land. It’s not constant, and I suspect the airport uses multiple runways, so the flight path above the flat may vary night to night. The location is great—there are several cafes and good restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Bus and tram stops are just 5 minutes away. While the easternmost sites like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral are about a 15-minute walk, many of the other major attractions are closer to 30 minutes away on foot. Thankfully, Sofia’s public transportation is cheap, reliable, and easy to use. Elvira was communicative and helpful throughout my stay, offering great recommendations for things to see, do, and eat. I’d definitely stay here again.

Situated in one of the best areas of Sofia- quiet, green and at walking distance to the Alexander Nevski cathedral. The flat is very clean and offers everything you need- appliances, cutlery etc. Kristina is very responsive too. There is nothing to complain about. I would stay there again.
