Monthly Rentals in Oconee County

We loved it. This was one of the cutest rentals we've stayed at. While it is a tiny home, it feels more cozy than cramped. The appliances are full sized, and the linens were nice. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. Everything was clean and we felt completely safe. The property is very private and there was plenty of room for the three of us. We had a quick trip planned and only wish we could have enjoyed the rental for longer, including the hammock and nice outdoor area. Great stay!

Linda and Keith were very hospitable. Gave suggestions for places to dine at and visit. The beds were comfortable the kitchen had everything you need. She even asked what kind of coffee we drink so that she would have upon are arrival. Anytime we texted her response was very prompt. I would highly recommend the shady rest to all that are visiting in the area. You’re close to so many water falls which are amazing.

I’m thrilled we found Aunt Helen’s place in Walhalla, SC. Home is perfect for a long weekend with friends and family. You feel at home when you walk in and it’s a very comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing enjoying the perfect weather. Did some walking around Walhalla shopping and eating in local restaurants. Great place to visit we’ll be back. We’ll be back the host are wonderful!!

Gail’s cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed and more. It is in a great location on the river and very peaceful. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck with views of the river. The sunroom also provided a great place to eat while enjoying the views of the river from the inside! The wildlife experience was one of the best. There was a beautiful hawk perched right outside the kitchen window while we cooked breakfast. We also learned a lot about Muscovy ducks when we asked Gail about them and were excited to see the recently hatched ducklings. There were folding chairs available for us to take down to the dock and it was a great place to relax and fish! This was such a great experience that we are already making plans to return next month! We highly recommend Gail’s cabin for a great getaway!
