Staying here in Amantani was more wonderful than we ever expected! Luis didn't just act as host, but also as tour guide, and good friend. He made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful and cozy, with many touches of Quechua lifestyle including alpaca wool sheets! Also hosting was Luis's mother, Fernanda, who was the sweetest abuela one could ever meet. Her cooking was just as delightful as her presence in the home. Overall this was a perfect homestay experience and we would love to stay again.

We had a great time at Juana's place. Peaceful moments, quiet. Juana is an exceptional host: welcoming, kind, she communicates very well (even if our Spanish is very average). We followed Juana in her everyday activities and she offered us other activities. On top of all that, the food is very good at Juana's!! Thanks again! We recommend 100%!

This is an incredible stay. Felix radiates a warm energy which is seen from the first thing in the morning until the end of the day. He goes above and beyond to ensure the stay is special. He has a passion to share the local cultures and we loved learning from him during our private tour around the community. The room itself is private, and an amazing place to just relax and soak in the sunset in a unique place if that’s what you’d prefer. The food is delicious and there is always hot water. Would recommend this stay to anybody.

We had a great stay at Aroy’s place. He and his family are some of the nicest people we’ve met here in Peru. Aroy was always available and eager to help with anything we needed. It was tough acclimatizing after coming straight from Lima, but Aroy’s support made a big difference. The home is beautiful and has plenty of light during the day. The pit toilet took some getting used to, but you’re on a floating island so we couldn’t expect much more. We’re really grateful for the hospitality!
