The last house in the alley

About 5 minutes by car from the city, on a site of about 400 pyeong or more, there is a 30-pyeong rural house. With a large room, a middle room, and a small room, it is a spacious accommodation with a kitchen and living room structure that is not lacking for families or multiple guests. At the edge of the village, with a forest garden-like feeling, Namsan Mountain seen from the large window indoors, Mueungwangneung Royal Tombs that seems to be captured on a wide deck, a cool hanok view from a low wall, and a path behind the house where you can take a light walk along the Osulloc promenade, all in harmony with the sound of birds all day long, I think it is the best resting place away from the busy daily life. Spacious parking, in-house kitchen amenities, and separate barbecue facilities provide convenience and enjoyment to guests. In particular, the transportation is convenient with the city permit, and the tourist route is close, so it will be satisfactory as a base for a pleasant trip.

Heery moved from Hwangnidan-gil to a slightly more spacious and comfortable space near the Namsan Botanical Garden in Gyeongju. Breakfast prepared in Western or Korean style is included We provide most of the amenities, including clean bedding, air conditioning, private bathroom, shower amenities, and a hairdryer. (The accommodation fee includes breakfast.) The rate is based on 2 people per room, and an additional fee (60,000 KRW per person) will be incurred for additional guests. (Bedding for the heated floor room is provided instead of beds) * Reservations for commercial photography are not allowed. After check-in, we may request you to leave the room if a shooting deemed to be for commercial purposes occurs. *Minors can only stay with a guardian (adult). *No large quantities of alcohol are allowed.

El Hanok Stay

El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

Gyeongju Hanok Sungeumjae (hanok stay sungeumjae)

This is a hanok, Sungeumjae, that retains the years that you can't see anywhere else. Soongeumjae is a house that has preserved the Sarangchae, which has been receiving precious guests for 100 years. I trimmed and fixed it myself without touching the old things as much as possible. There are two apple trees in the yard. When you're in a daze, when you're chatting, you can feel the subtle scent of quince. We offer welcome tea, welcome food, and a bottle of water to everyone who comes. Enjoy seasonal teas and refreshments. We hope that you will have a happy time in the Sarangchae, where precious guests come.

Welcome to 450 year old Hanok, Chungui-dang. Humhum-dang is east wing of Chungui-dang. Guests can enjoy anywhere in Chungui-dang without disturbing other guests. Humhum-dang has 23㎡ sleeping room, 6㎡ tea room. *Humhum-dang is designed for 2 guests, with 2 floor mattresses. *Maximum 3 guests are allowed. (Extra ₩ 10,000 per extra guest) Guest can have tea and toast at guest lounge. *Smoking is strongly prohibited in all Chungui-dang area. *Breakfast is not included. (Toast is free of charge)

Please double-check the address before coming! Address: 7-26, Hwarang-ro 28beon-gil Old, traditional Hanok, so it shows its age. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.
