Monthly Rentals in Ogimachi

Just a truly amazing stay. If you want to feel a true typical japanese experience, that is just the place for you. The couple who host are just the kindest/sweetest souls, and it was a real pleasure to meet them. Breakfasts were delicious and the coffee that they roast themselves is stellar. A place to stay is rarely the highlight of a trip (usually it's more the different activities during the day), but I have to say that this particular stay was the highlight of our Japan trip. The hosts also gave plenty of suggestions of activities to do around based on what we liked. Can't recommend this place enough. Completely deserved the already thousands of 5 stars review they got.

Good location within easy walking distance of the station, market and shopping mall with restaurants. Very friendly hosts. Lovely old machiya style house, ideal for a couple as space is slightly limited and the stairs are very steep.

You can watch the rice field and have a view of the mountains covered with snow at the desk. It’s scenic and peaceful at the same time when you have breakfast. Yoko-san and her husband are great hosts and the highlight of the whole experience was definitely the home-made breakfast prepared by them.
