Beppu City Hall (about 8 minutes on foot), Beacon Plaza (about 2 minutes on foot), and a supermarket are all about 2 minutes on foot, so you can purchase side dishes and drinks and then eat them in your room. The bathroom only has a shower, but there are many hot springs in Beppu, so it is a good idea to visit the hot springs.
