Monthly Rentals in Ōkārito

Great House and Location. Right on the beach and logon. Very peaceful and picturesque. House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Coffee and cookies at the kayak adventure store (two doors down) was an added bonus.

Kōtuku Cottage was a gorgeous little place to stay. Ōkārito is a beautiful peaceful little hamlet, only 25mins from Franz Josef, it is like stepping back into holidays I had decades ago in simple seaside locations, except with really good wifi 😅 No shops so get that done before you get here. Full kitchen & washing machine ✔️ Judith’s house has a great style and is really comfortable, the heater is effective and upstairs is warm, the mattress and pillows really comfortable. A short stroll to the beach for sunset, a house up the street sells a repellant for sand flies if needed. We would love to spend longer here doing nothing. Highly recommended, thanks Judith!

Absolutely loved our time here! Unfortunately we got rained in so we weren’t able to use the beautiful outside balcony or fire pit, but we felt right at home. Thank you so much Sarah for hosting us!

A lovely place with aesthetic decor and even a bathtub outside. It has two stories. The bottom level is with the kitchen and lounge and upstairs is the bedroom. Richard was really friendly and even greeted us and they provided a complimentary bottle of insect repellent which was much needed. Also the pebble beach nearby has a beautiful landscape even though it’s too rough to lie down on.
