Comfortable, relaxing, inviting. Host can cook delicious meals upon request. There is also a small "cafe" next door, which serves udon. Ideal for those who like to observe nature: sea, pond, birds, fish... Walks in the countryside, in the forest or on the harbor... It is even perfect for observing the night sky, because there is very little light pollution.

A lovely, no-frills place to stay near the Henro trail. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was soft and very comfortable. Meals were available on request, but there are nice restaurants close by. The host is welcoming and helpful. Recommended!

Would highly recommend staying at the Uno Inn! Such lovely staff, amazing location, and our room was super clean and cozy.

We’ve had a lovely and comfortable stay. Futon beds were comfortable and shower was good. The location of the inn is perfect, close by the train station and the ferry to Noashima island. We were received with genuine warmth and all relevant information we could need. We will gladly come back again to visit Teshima island that time as well.

Traditional house with lots of charm. You are welcomed by the entire family who are very kind and fun. The family is very attentive with you: - we did the cooking together, they taught me how to make a chirachi - they prepared me an onsen on site - guide local activities as well as advise on places to visit in Japan. Don't hesitate to come to their home and test the ice cream shop just downstairs:). A wonderful time.

It was a nice building in a very beautiful landscape with no photos and brown.There was room for about 10 people, and the room was clean and equipped with everything. The grounds around the house were also clean, so there were no unpleasant insects at all, and we had a very pleasant time. There was an irori fireplace, and it was a very wonderful space where you could feel the rich nature. I'd love to stay here again.

Very near the local attractions and food. The walks you can do around this area is very accessible and even scenic at night. The accommodation was clean and the staff were more than willing to help. The breakfast was delicious as well.

I had a great time at Melanie’s. She and Christian are extremely kind and charming people. Highly recommended — probably the best spot in Uno!
