I stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Sukhiya Pokhari for 9 days with Manisha and Zikmi, and honestly, it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—thanks to the wonderful hosts who were not just helpful but also incredibly fun, warm, and full of good vibes. The property itself is nestled in a peaceful village, surrounded by lush greenery and absolutely breathtaking views that made every morning magical. The food they served was delicious—home-cooked, fresh, and made with so much love. Every meal was a delight. Their hospitality was exceptional—every little need was taken care of with so much care and attention. i never felt like a guest, but part of their home. The memories I made here will stay with me forever. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with heartwarming hosts and stunning nature all around, this is the place. Can’t wait to go back!

Sristi's mud house is straight out of a fairy tale - magical , mystical and dreamy. Highly recommend it to someone looking to live a slow life in hinterlands. The house is built with a lot of care and thought. The artefacts of bamboo and wood give it an earthy charm. One can spend hours here with nature - the surrounding forest sounds , clear night sky and village / farm walks rekindled our spirits. Sristi herself and her family are very warm and welcoming. The food they cook on a wood fired cookstove is simple and delicious. Thanks for everything Sristi , including the small picnic at the river. PS - don't forget to ask for Shimpu Guras wine prepared from Rhododendron!

Tranquil, that's how I felt at Eshab's Homestay. It was really a home away from home. The friendly doggos and the ever so attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Food at the restaurant was delicious, the never ending cups of steaming hot milk tea, the drizzle of the rain and the cold crisp air was perfect indeed. We were regaled with karaoke at their bar and restaurant, and on our last night, upon the owner's insistence, we even gave it a shot! We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth it. We did a fair bit of sightseeing (Pelling, Chakung etc) and leisurely walks up to the monastery and the falls. They even provide you with umbrellas! Everything was well managed by the kind staff - Alisha, Rohit, Susma, Kabita and a few others including the happy and helpful young men who drove us around ( namely RK, Pasang and Tashi) - and the pleasant and chatty owner, Kesang's dad who was a total sweetheart! As a professional traveler , I mostly travel alone. This time my decision to stay at Fursat Home stay is the one of greatest decision of mine. Tshirin brother and Her wife is so much helpful as well as cooking is so much awesome. Tshirin brother Hosts me the local areas as well as the adventure travels inside forest. those are my out of expectations but total worth value return travel ever. i highly recommend this stay
