Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. This house, which I have inherited from my father, has soul, history and charm, and we have proudly retained the name "Farmorhuset" (Grandmother's House) which many of our guests know and appreciate. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's conveniences for a comfortable and cozy stay. We have three bedrooms with a total of five beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

The midnight sun can be enjoyed from the balconies. Fantastic base to walk the popular queen route, take a whalesafari, bird and seal safari and to go deep sea fishing. In the winter here is a teeming life because of the cod fisheries Amazing Northern Lights on clear autumn and winter evenings.

Recharge in this unique apartment in the Nyksund fishing village. The apartment is one of four apartments in one of the oldest houses in the fishing village Nyksund. The apartment was in the old days an "Ice House", the place you kept ice that you needed to put around the fish before it was loaded on boats and sailed south. This is a very nice and warm apartment with everything you need for a good stay at the end of the sea in Vesterålen.

Det er også en grei beliggenhet som base for å utforske både Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel og Andøya.
