Monthly Rentals in Old Byland

This is a wonderful find and Jane is a wonderful host. Genuinely spacious place with lovely decoration, spotlessly clean. I appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful touches that meant we could settle straight in. We had everything we could possibly need, and a very warm welcome. We only stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) but could very happily have stayed for an extended period. Thank you Jane for the care you take, and for sharing your lovely place with visitors.

We were looking somewhere peaceful for my husband’s birthday weekend and Sally’s place met all our expectations. Instructions how to get into the property was clear and easy that made our check in a breeze. Everything that we needed was already provided in the property. It was raining and windy outside during our stay but the place is so cozy that you wouldn’t mind staying in (not to mention the Father Ted DVD that gave us a proper laugh!). Property was spotless clean. And oh, the cake that greeted us when we got in is such a sweet touch. Thank you a bunch. We are rating the property 11/10.😊

Lovely stay at Alison's place. Alison met us when we arrived and was very responsive. My husband broke his leg shortly before arrival, meaning our plans for long walks were thwarted! Alison was full of helpful suggestions. The house was compact but peaceful (once we got used to the noisy cows). We had not realised there were no cooking facilities, but that was our mistake.

Charming country cottage well located to explore North Yorkshire. The host, Lucy is friendly, responsive and gave us good recommendations around the area.
