Stayed for new year , hot tub was great once warmed up , weather was awful but still had an amazing time , would definitely recommend and would go again maybe with the grandkids

Perfect Getaway at Fox Cottage! Fox Cottage at Blakelow Farm was the ideal spot for two couples and our dogs, Ernie (the sausage dog) and Ralph (the cockapoo). The cottage was spotless and cozy, with plenty of room to relax. We had a great BBQ and loved the private field for the dogs to run around in. The walk to the pub through the fields was lovely, and Gina and Andrew were fantastic hosts—plus, the hens made a fun visit! Highly recommend for a peaceful, scenic retreat! PS - amazing welcome basket with fresh bread, free range eggs (guessing from the hens outside the cottage) and posh mini shower gels, other essentials and much much more.

Stayed at this place twice now and both times didn't dissapoint. place was clean and tidy. The house is finished to a high standard and has everything you need for a relaxing time away. Great host will use again

if your reading reviews you must be thinking about booking well just do it the view alone is worth every penny and on top of that you get an immaculate, very clean, modern and comfortable lodge with everything you need to have a comfortable stay we truly made some amazing memories and will definitely return.

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

We really couldn’t fault the stay we had here, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the pod itself was cosy and well equipped. We had a great time having BBQs and relaxing in the hot tub, especially loved being able to enjoy a coffee on the outside decking in the morning to enjoy the views and the seaside town was within walkable distance. Amanda was a wonderful host, she was friendly, easy to talk to, incredibly down to earth and helpful. Getting to pet some baby lambs has been one of the highlights of our year!!! Would 100% recommend Amanda to our friends and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed, and we travel a lot! The location was idyllic for us, with plenty of walks and close reach of snowdon. The space was well maintained with ample space for us and our dog, a very cute cottage. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was lovely and the views to die for. Sonia was just lovely, she was staying next door whilst we were there and it was nice to catch up when our paths crossed, she’s a credit to the cottages. We could have done with a few more essentials just to make it really feel like home, as when we were cooking there really was just basics, but this is probably just because we prefer to eat in and we were there for 5 days. Also if you have a dog, probably stay next door! This cottage worked for us but maybe not for others with escape artists. Other than that we really have no complaints at all, and had the best time. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be recommending and hopefully be back! :)

This is a terrific place, great location, great ambience, everything you need, right in the heart of Stow. It's a small place tucked into the attic space so there's a few quirks. If it was my place, I'd do better than a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom, something better than a see-through blind on the skylight right over the bed, and somewhere, anywhere, to hang a towel in the bathroom (simple hook over the shower screen?). Not to mention the kitchen drawer that only opens when the oven door is open! But as a guest, if these things are likely to bother you you're not reading this, you've already booked a hotel somewhere with the tour groups. Instead you've got a place full of character in a top location. Overall this was a great Cotswolds stay. We loved it. Highly recommended.

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!
