This is a private house that is exclusively rented to one group per day, where you can feel close to the rich nature of Shiga Prefecture and enjoy rural life. It is a calm, old-fashioned space that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Please relax and enjoy your stay with family and friends. It is about an hour by car from the city of Kyoto, and if you are coming by train, it is about 20 minutes by bus from Adogawa Station on the JR Kosai Line, or about 10 minutes by taxi. It is popular with overseas guests, families, and groups. We also rent out BBQ sets (equipment) for a fee, so please feel free to ask. There is free parking on the premises. Up to 3 standard cars can be parked. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to park 3, so please contact us in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also rent out space for a fee. We also offer free bike rentals. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for your activities. To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

Omi's Machiya "Kado" Traditional building preservation area

This is the only guest house (entire house rental) facing Shinmachi Street in an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The streets lined with merchants' houses, built in the late Edo period to the Meiji era, give you a strange feeling as if time has stopped when you step into it. This Shinmachi neighborhood is important not only for its scenery but also as a historical site. This is a very rare accommodation where you can stay in such an area.

Kurazo is limited to one group, and can accommodate from 2 to 6 people, with a private Shigaraki stoneware bathtub.

This guesthouse is a renovated 120-year-old traditional Japanese house located in the merchant town of Omi Hino, overlooking Mt. Watamuki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, with the concept of "nostalgic yet new." The townscape of Hino itself is somehow nostalgic and calming.
