Freestanding holiday home in a quiet area

You will be staying in a comfortable, fully furnished holiday home, the "Dashuis". The house is next to our own house and has its own entrance. You have your own, enclosed terrace with plenty of privacy. In the immediate vicinity, chances are you will encounter deer or a kingfisher. The location is in a natural environment with ample hiking and biking possibilities. Cities are easily accessible, Leeuwarden 30 min., Groningen 40 min. A direct bus to Heerenveen with, among other things, the Thialf ice stadium.

At FEAN Nature Lodge, you naturally find yourself slowing down. The large windows offer views over the countryside, and from the terrace, you have plenty of space to enjoy the view and the natural surroundings. September is beautiful here: you can still feel the summer, while outside it is already becoming a bit quieter. The four free bicycles are ready for you to set off, for example to the Fochteloërveen, the Drents-Friese Wold or Veenhuizen. A great place for a few days of rest, space and nature.

This comfortable detached vacation home, with a large garden with privacy, is located in a very quiet small park (± 30 cottages) in the beautiful landscape of De Friese Wouden, on the outskirts of the village of Boijl (870 inhabitants). The sunny garden provides privacy and features 2 terraces. Nearby are the Drentse Koloniën van Weldadigheid (Unesco World Heritage) with beautiful villages such as Frederiksoord (Museum De Proefkolonie). You can enjoy hiking, biking and swimming in the Aekingermeer.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of maize or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

In the log cabin, you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and a sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.
