Relax and enjoy the peace of nature! A two-storey log cabin located on the shore of a lake. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchenette and a utility kitchen. Dishwasher, washing machine and drying cabinet. Downstairs bedroom with a double bed and upstairs rooms with beds for four. Inside the toilet. Wooden sauna, shower room and toilet in connection with the cabin. Hot water. In the yard, a gas grill, an electric smoker, and a masonry pan. On the beach there is a jetty, rowing boat and canoe. A SUP board and an electric motor for the boat are also available for rent.

Apartment in an old school

Apartment at the sheltered end of the former village school. The apartment has a kitchen, an open bedroom and a bathroom. Sleeps four. Double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment has a teacher's platform and outdoor stairs, so it is not accessible. The outdoor sauna is heated for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8 km from the city center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use. There is room in the yard to stay and, for example, barbecue. Also suitable for families with children.

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Hand-carved 100m2 log cabin on the shores of Lake Saimaa, completed in 1995. A peaceful environment just a few minutes' drive from the services of Varkaus city centre. The place is well suited for a weekend of relaxation as well as a longer stay. Basic amenities and cooking equipment. The cottage has a very spacious wood-fired sauna. The hut in the yard and the barbecue shed are freely available. The cottage is suitable for year-round living, but in the middle of winter it is worth booking wool socks for the trip :)

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Peaceful villa near lake

Villa Leikon – a holiday right next to clean nature and lakes. Cottage accommodates four people. There is room for two to sleep downstairs and two more up in the loft. The detached sauna building also has a spacious bedroom which accommodates two more people. In total six people can comfortably stay. The beach sauna building is nicely attached to the main building with an open terrace. The cottage is surrounded by almost undisturbed nature with enough space for outdoor relaxing.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Renovated historic cottage

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.

Three-bedroom apartment + sauna in the city center

Wonderful aparment in Savonlinna center, surrounded by Lake Saimaa. The apartment has a small sauna, swimming in the lake is possible via stairs in the backyard. Less than 10 min. walk to the market square and city center services, Olavinlinna castle is about 20 min. walk away. Swimming hall (on maintenance break 7.7.-10.8.), Huwila restaurant and beach are very close. The building has a swimming pool that is available outside the reserved sauna hours.

Ukonranta Cottage at Saimaa Lakeland

A modern cottage on the shores of Lake Saimaa. The view from the large windows of the cottage is relaxing and the terrace is pleasant to spend summer evenings. The wood-fired beach sauna heats up quickly and has good steam. The holiday cottage is quiet, the nearest neighbors are on the opposite shore, but the church village with its grocery stores, cafes and other services is close (3 km). The cozy summer town of Savonlinna is 35 km away.
